This Fire Island beach house features amazing views of both the ocean and bay, vaulted ceilings with skylights, large windows on three sides, and huge wrap around decks. It's the perfect place to relax with family and friends. New to the market and recently renovated, the home features updated mid-century/contemporary furniture and furnishings, re-finished hardwood floors, and more.
The top floor has amazing views and great ocean breezes. Inside, there is a bright and airy floorpan with open kitchen (with new Miele dishwasher), living, and dining area. There is a large bedroom with a private deck and also one bathroom. Outside there is a wraparound deck with a bbq, dining table, and outdoor couch. You can relax or dine while listening to and watching the ocean.
On the lower-level, there are three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a large den and play space for kids. Outside there is another wrap-around deck with an outdoor shower and brand new washer/dryer.
This is a very family-friendly home (we have two small children and use it for our family) and also comfortable for discerning adults. High-quality linens, bedding, and towels will be provided. Sleeps 8 adults comfortably. In addition, a porta-crib and toddler airbed are also available.
The home is insulated and has heat.
There is a $225 cleaning fee.
We only rent by the week for June, July, and August (Monday - Monday).
There is a 2 night minimum for April and May. Availability for April depends on ferry schedule which has not be released, yet. They typically run on the Fri-Sun at a minimum. We will update as we know more.
It is about an 7 minute walk to “downtown” which includes the ferry dock, a small grocery store, a liquor store, and a small food stand with burgers, fries, and ice cream. There is also an oceanfront restaurant and bar right down the boardwalk.
Fire Island is a barrier island that runs along Long Island, NY. The Ocean Ridge/Davis Park village is only accessible by ferry and has a small town vibe where the only mode of transportation is walking. No private cars are allowed (except for a few work vehicles).

Summary: Nice big home with lots of windows for beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets. Close walk to beach. Beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed the air conditioner downstairs during the 90* days. Great towels and linens.

Summary: My family, friends, and I had a great time staying at the "Tree House". The house was well organized, generous in toiletries and paper products, and the views were top notch. The beds were so comfortable and the linens clean and free from mold, stains, or smell. I know this is hard to come by at the beach, but we appreciated the upkeep of the property and would love to rent again!
