Our place is a quiet, secluded 2nd story apartment separate from the main house in a heavily wooded 1+ acre homesite in southwestern Travis county. It is just minutes from downtown Austin, the Highland Lakes, and the Hill Country. The Hill Country Galleria, a large shopping area, is 10 minutes away, and a large supermarket is 2 miles away.
The apartment is over 700 square feet and is fully furnished with a full kitchen, a bedroom with queen size bed, a separate laundry, and a large bathroom with a tile shower spa. The living area has a vaulted ceiling, comfortable sofa, and a large screen TV, along with high speed Internet. The large deck provides a place to relax among the oak trees. Handcrafted cabinetry and millwork enhance the carefully appointed apartment.
Access is easy with dedicated parking, and a stone walk separates the apartment from the main house on the property for quiet privacy. Owners and family members are nearby and available as necessary. A queen size inflatable bed is available on request.

Summary: The treetop cottage was so amazing and peaceful. You really feel like you’re in a treehouse! We stayed for 2 months for a clinical rotation, and have only great things to say. The place is cute and clean, the AC works great, the communication with the host was quick and kind, and the neighborhood was great. We felt very safe going on walks and exploring the beautiful homes. The neighbors are also all very friendly. The only thing we did not expect was that we thought from the pictures that there was grass down the outdoor stairs for the dog to use, but there was not. It did not end up being a problem, though, because we would just walk down the driveway a little. Overall, we loved our experience and would highly recommend!

Summary: Very nice little property that was the perfect distance from town, but still felt secluded. AC units worked really well in the Austin heat and everything was super clean. They had everything you could need available. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: This was my fifth snd most extended stay. Everything was as good as I had come to experience and expect. I can think of no higher compliment than to say, there is no way to improve on perfection. I hope to return!

Summary: My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this charming, spacious, and quiet apartment. Well-crafted wood floors and trim work helped make this place a very comfortable home for nearly two weeks. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals ourselves. There’s a laundry room conveniently located just off the bedroom and an outdoor deck shaded by several live oaks. Location has a rural feel to it, but a HEB grocery store is only a couple miles away, and downtown Austin is a quick 20-25 minute drive. We happily recommend this apartment to others interested in a well-maintained, charming home away from home.

Summary: We stayed for 3 months and really enjoyed this reasonably priced, peaceful location on the edge of Austin. Wonderful hosts, charming apartment, comfortable bed and a great shower. There was a washer & dryer conveniently located next to the bedroom, which was very nice. Definitely a home we hope to return to!

Summary: The Treetop Cottage was a great space for us this weekend. There was plenty of room, a full kitchen, and comfy bed. It is away from downtown Austin, but close enough to make it convenient for a meeting and lunch. The owners were very nice. I would definitely choose this place again.

Summary: The property is located in a quiet, secluded area but close to Austin and all the attractions it has to offer. The owner and his sister were very responsive to any of our needs, but gave us the privacy we desired. At one point, during the month-long stay, I got extremely ill and ended up being hospitalized for over a week and this home provided my wife with a safe shelter in my absence. My illness changed our plans for the rest of the time we spent in Texas--follow up doctor visits and a need to stay put and recuperate. This home did not disappoint in terms of that. The AC kept us cool and comfortable for weeks of temperatures that were consistently triple digits. The internet worked nicely, and the home offered comfortable firniture to relax in. The deck was one of the best features and we felt as though we were in a tree house with all the swaying oak tree tops. I took several naps outside on the bench being lulled to sleep by the breezes. The property was clean. The laundry facility in the home was excellent--in the future we would pack much less because it was so easy to toss a load in. The shower was fantastic--walk in and good water pressure. If we were to return to this area we would definitely book this home again. We are grateful to have had a restful place to stay and for me to recuperate and visit with relatives from the area.
