Positive: The location, the garden, the walks from the property. The position is far enough away from the everyday hustle and bustle, but close enough to reach facilities should i have required. The hosts were superb and always on hand if i required, and were a font of knowledge for walks and local pubs.
Negative: There was nothing not to like.

Negative: The shower was only hand held which was a bit of a problem having to kneel for hair washing. This is not noted on booking.com but having since checked, see it was noted on Skye Cottages.

Positive: Beautiful characterful cottage with a lovely host. There were plenty of recommendations about where to go and what to do in the area. The host even brought fresh flowers from the garden on day 2 of our stay.
Negative: The bath/shower is very difficult to fit into if you are above 170cm tall. Getting the temperature right is also very tricky. We had a big ant problem in the living room by the window. The beautiful garden can only be accessed after crossing the street (watch out for cars and tractors coming fast down the hill) and squeezing past 3 cars parked in its entrance. Very difficult to walk in the surroundings with no clearly marked pedestrian paths.

Positive: Perfect location for us. Have stayed here before and would have no hesitation in returning. Hosts very friendly and helpful.
Negative: Lack of a walk in shower is only slight downside to the property, but we were prepared so it was fine.
Summary: A converted old smithy in a perfect location to enjoy the peace of the Cornish countryside.

Positive: Location is excellent for seeing the Bodmin moor and both coasts. You can easily walk into the beautiful local village too. Accommodation is clean, comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. It's perfect for families, friends and for pooches!
Negative: Just be aware that long showers could mean the next person in has a cold one! It's a small detail though and it's part of the charm of staying in a old Smithy.
