Wake to the sound of water lapping against the docks. Watch the ducks parade by your deck every morning and evening. Hear the loons call and see the herons float through the air as they land for their nightly roost. The fish jump as you enjoy the sunset. Located on the South Shore of beautiful Lake Bonaparte, this cottage is perfect for all seasons. Enjoy majestic views from the large 16' x 30' deck. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the guest bedroom has a full bed and the loft area has three twin beds. The loft was designed with children in mind as the two of the beds are trundle type and the ceilings are low. The main floor and the loft each have their own full bath. Please keep in mind you will need to provide your own towels and linens for your stay. Wood floors, stainless steel appliances, and an open floor plan add to its charm. It is very bright with a lot of natural sunlight. The large finished basement has plenty of floor space for an air mattress as well as a couch and a PS4 / Wii station, a perfect getaway for the kids. A large dock is available with plenty of room to tie up your boat. There are also two kayaks for you to enjoy. Please be advised that there are four flights of stairs from the parking area to the cottage.

Summary: This place is not a camp, it's a house! If you want old and fishy smelling you won't find it here. Bruce got back to us with any questions fast if he didn't answer right away. The wifi worked perfectly, the a/c was cold and everything worked as expected. If it's available next summer when I get to go on vacation this is where you'll find us.

Summary: Host was very accommodating and accessible. House was nicer than pictures portrayed. Very peaceful and beautiful lake. The stairs leading down to cabin are a little intense, but worth it when you see the lake. Great for families.

Summary: We had a great stay! I felt lucky to be able to book a partial week and wish more property owners would do this. The camp was modern and beautiful with a great view. Bruce was a great and attentive host.

Summary: What an amazing place. Attention paid to every detail. Modern, beautifully decorated, clean and a genial, non-intrusive host. There are 4 flights of stairs from where you park down to the camp. If possible, bring your luggage by boat to the dock. Your knees will thank you.

Summary: House was beautiful and plenty of room for 4 adults. Bruce fixed a toilet within a day of our stay so we would be comfortable. Beautiful lake all around excellent time. The steps leading from the parking lot were no joke. It’s so able but you should be in decent shape to be able to go up and down.

Summary: Securing rental of this property was uneventful and smooth. We asked questions and received timely answers. Correspondence with the owner was excellent… photos of this property showed a clean, updated property and indeed, it was. The owner reminded me of the steps/stairs that led to the lake house. They are many, and steep in places. “Moving in” and “moving out” carrying items and climbing was challenging but we took our time and everything turned out ok. I am 71 years old and found these stairs to be the deciding point as to whether we would leave the premises for any reason. Once we were settled, we truly enjoyed everything about this house. It is well kept and clean. We fished, boated and swam in the lake. Wi-Fi is strong. Outside seating is plentiful and 2 decks aim to please. The lake loons were, indeed, an extra treat. We enjoyed our time spent on beautiful Lake Bonaparte.

Summary: It was exactly as described and reviewed. The stairs are many and difficult, but once in the home on the lake it is well worth it. Very comfortable camp and has everything a rustic lakeside camp would need for a beautiful experience on Lake Bonaparte
