Summary: I love everything about this cabin, it's one of the most well appointed places I've ever stayed. I spend all my time thinking about and making reasons to go back. It's such a special spot. The beds are also delicious, excellent pillows, the kitchen is a treat, great wifi for working vacays, I love chatting with my neighbor who lives in the gorgeous house behind the cabin & her dog Ollie is the best little gentleman and cuddle biscuit. Lap pool is beautiful and the spa is to die for—at night especially. It's just a slice of art & heaven.

Summary: This place is absolutely gorgeous, the craftsmanship of the place is next level and the property is amazing. We live nearby and rented it for an anniversary staycation. Prime river spot ! Views from the house and a very easy walk to the river which is an epic sandy beach with a wide, deep swimming area. You can also walk a bit upriver and float or paddle board back down easily. We saw bald eagles, osprey and great blue herons multiple times as there are no homes in sight. The location is private (but you will still see other folks on the river esp during summer) and has everything you need. I prepared for multiple meals and had plenty of room to store everything and all the cookware I required. The property owners were there and such a pleasure to chat with and always very helpful. Even though the main house is close we still felt like we had our privacy. We loved exploring the river and relaxing in the hot tub. It was slightly cool with bouts of rain while we were there, but still enjoyed every minute. Our kid loved his little spot up in the loft and the beds were very comfortable. We are still thinking about how amazing it was and are already dreaming about when we can book again! What a gem!

Summary: Great place and very peaceful. The pool was perfect since we were there on 90 degree days. Would absolutely recommend if you want a slow pace place to stay.

Summary: My wife and I stopped here for a quick 3-day trip and enjoyed the lovely pool overlooking the river. River access was great, an easy walk down a slowly sloping road just below the house. I'd venture to say it's probably the best river access of any house in the area. The water was a bit chilly for swimming while we were there, but it's a lovely spot for fishing and relaxing on the bank. Our favorite was just listening to the water. The stonework on the house and surroundings is impressive. The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed. Nice place. Sylvia was a pleasure to deal with, hope to be back some time in the future.

Summary: Enjoyable visit to the Mountain Pool house, the craftsmanship of this home is amazing. A wonderful view of the Trinity River which is just a short hike away. On a hot Summer visit, plenty options to cool down a dip in the pool or a float on the river are both enjoyable. You should be comfortable with dogs, this is truly a pet friendly property . Thank you Larry & Sylvia for sharing your home for us to enjoy a quiet 4th of July and our 27 anniversary.

Summary: The Pool House is charming, very classy, and comfortable with everything you need. The views of the Trinity River are great and you have use of the pool and private access River beach. The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful, and an altogether terrific person. I loved the whole experience.
