Positive: It was so peaceful to stay at the guest house. There was a small courtyard with a fountain, making it very relaxing. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking if desired. There were adequate supplies in the bathroom and the shower was super relaxing; there were even jacuzzi jets in the tub. The bed was very comfortable and the bedspread was beautiful. I liked the landscaping. It made for a very relaxing stay. It was also super clean. We will definitely be back!

Positive: The point of contact was prompt in responding to my arrival time and explaining how to check in and how everything works. Kudos.. I like that the courtyard was clean. The pool and hot tub were a good addition. I can tell they are upkept. The scenery and wild life was cool to see. I saw toads eating flying ants, prairie dogs and different species of lizards. Our neighboring guests seemed very friendly and we all shared and enjoyed the courtyard area. Thanks for having a fire pit and propane grills. We utilized all of it. Overall, great place. I would return but maybe try out a different room type.
Negative: The bed is a sleep number. I prefer firm, so I set it to 100 but it quickly goes back to, too soft and I was literally sinking into mattress. I sleep on the right side of the bed, my husbands side of bed was fine. It loses air too but not as quickly as the right. Right side of the bed meaning, closest to the window. I did not sleep well at all and typically I'm a sleeper. I'm always tired and sleep through the night. There were leftover hairs from pets and previous guests on the top comforter of master bed but that was not a deal breaker. I used to clean homes myself and hairs can be tricky. No worries. The place is old with some upgrades but investing in new matresses and TVs would not be a bad idea, they were out dated. I'd guess the bed mattress was 20-30 years old. The TV's were about 10-15 years old.
Summary: Glad I could book at such last minute for 4th of July weekend.
