Positive: The location was ideal, and the house was comfortable enough to accommodate 2 adults. The place was quite cozy and clean. It was well maintained.
Negative: The radiator in one of the rooms was giving out hot air, even though it was turned off. The television was not working at all.

Negative: Downstairs toilet seemed bare and unfinished, no mirror, towels, towel rack, shelf, soap. The instructions for guests were in a picture frame that had been broken and it fell apart on touch. There were nails sticking out of the wooden frame, which poses a risk to people handling it, particularly children. Steep stairs, additional handrail or wooden handle at top to hold on to would help. The single bed was not very comfortable,but the double was fine. I could not get the ti to work. Most important, the indicator on the four cooker switches is worn so that you do not know which hob is heating up, except by touch. Suggest you supply a diagram of which hob heats which hot plate.
Summary: This pretty, well-equipped cottage is more suited to younger guests as the stairs are rather too steep

Negative: TV only had Sky news and channel 5. Insects ln the toilet by the kitchen but only saw them at night. Also it had no hot water,

Positive: Bed comfortable and clean. Kitchen well supplied.
Negative: Shower not adjusting had to handhold when not washing hair. Bathroom ensuite in smaller bedroom. Stairs dangerous. No contact with host. Insufficient information about shops, restaurants etc for this self catering accommodation. Too many unnecessary rules. TV tiny and very few programmes accessible. No sofa

Positive: Great location for what we wanted to do, a lovely little town. The property was comfortable and good value for money.
Negative: I should have checked re shower facilities, accessed via the 2nd bedroom. It would have been easier if downstairs toilet had a separate shower.

Negative: There was black mould growing on the fan in the kitchen window, also damp coming through the ceiling, the mattress has bad stains on it, I have photos of it. The fact that you have to go through the other bedroom while the people are sleeping in it, to use the bathroom /shower, is strange and very embarrassing.
