Positive: The property is in a location that allows you to easily visit Viana do Castelo, Valenรงa, Monรงao, and Ponte da Barca. The house is gorgeous and spacious. There are 3 en-suite bedrooms and a bedroom downstairs where you would have to go upstairs to use the bathroom. The induction cooktop is a plus. The host was responsive, kind, and helpful. I would recommend it to others.
Negative: The issue was we began our stay on a very cold day/night and the house was too large for the radiator heating units to heat the house with the intervals the host had them set to. We were able to contact the host the next morning because we all were cold including our pets and they agreed to get space heaters for the rooms and keep the radiators on. Once the radiators were kept on it was more than sufficient. The other issue is the home did not have enough electrical plugs. So you may want to bring a few multi-plugs if in a large group. Just note the power may go out if many things are on at the same time.
