2 bedroom apartment in a unique context: an ancient olive oil mill newly converted into an exclusive and luxurious holiday house. Thanks to accurate architectural restoration, the XVII th century building, perhaps a former monastery due to its “cloister” structure, has been transformed into luxury apartments, situated in a small valley, amid Tuscan olive-groves, cypresses and vineyards. The apartment is spacious and well decorated, with cotto tiles and wooden beams. It’s fully air conditioned and has wi-fi internet connection. It has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with twin beds which can be transformed into a double bed. A folding bed or a crib can be added on request. It has a fireplace in the living room and a fully equipped kitchenette. Mosquito nets will protect your nights while listening to the crickets. For a larger group we also own a studio just next door (see ref 8759709), which can accomodate 2 extra guests. You can relax after excursions in the vast garden and enjoy the swimming pool in the quiet atmosphere, savoring the smells of lavender, rosemary, and sage plants. There is a big table in the garden, where you can barbecue the famous “chianina” meat, one of the most delicious local products, together with wines and extra-virgin olive oil. Cooking classes and wine tasting tours can be arranged, as well as bike rental and horse riding.

Possibility to rent pool towels at € 3.00 per person, per stay. Please indicate your choices when booking. The tourist tax is calculated for the first four nights at € 2.50 per person, excluding children under 12 years. All these costs will be paid at check in either in cash or by instant transfer.

Summary: Great facilities, nice pool, very helpful host. We had a great time. Cortona is a somewhat hidden gem, really wonderful vacation overall. The apartment does not have a private garden or balcony, but the shared area is large and quiet.

Summary: Beautiful location, great apartment and great pool. There are 30 apartments, but it was not that busy. So great time we had.

Summary: Spent 2 weeks in July in this clean and well equipped appartment as a family of four. Great communication with the landlady and with the janitor. Clean and tidy garden with a big pool. Air condition worked well, and secure parking was also available. Cortona is a cosy little town, bigger citys like Arezzo, Siena and Perugia can be reached within less than 1 hour by car.

Summary: Cristina was incredibly accommodating pre-booking that allowed for a stress free reservation, replying to all our (complicated) requests in a timely manner. We were received by Elisa nearby who drove us out to the property. The photographs do not do the property justice, when the gates opened, it took our breath away! It is truly beautiful surrounded by trees and a curated garden. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The runners in our family were thrilled that they could reach Cortona on their morning run. The pool was thoroughly enjoyed by our pre-teen and grandma comfortably seated poolside. We enjoyed our "al fresco" BBQ dinner in the communal garden, which was literally "fresco" thanks to the surrounding trees, something difficult to come by in the middle of August. The location enabled us to day trip to neighbouring towns and rest poolside the rest of the time. It is a wonderful property managed by professionals. Highly recommended.

Summary: The apartment was very comfortable and absolutely spotless. We were very grateful for the air-conditioning, especially given the heat outside. The pool was really lovely and so were the gardens, with a wonderful view of the hills and a little castle. It was great to be in the peace of the countryside but yet only a few minutes drive from Cortona. Though there were 30 apartments , they were never all occupied and it was very quiet. The only thing that could have made it better would be direct access to the outside - we didn't realise when booking that it was on the 2nd floor so we had to use the stairs to go to the garden, and there is no balcony or terrace.
