Summary: This rental was just a quick, one night stop for our family of five. We chose this for the “peaceful “ description, as we would be staying here after a day of traveling across the country. We arrived to find that it was a cottage and not the whole property, ok. Not a big deal. Not a very clean cottage, bugs everywhere and an unpleasant smell in the kitchen, and a very dirty fridge we just chose not to to use. Again, it’s fine. The pull down, rickety attic stairs that led to the loft where our 3 kids were sleeping was interesting- no railing, a bed was used as a barrier instead. All of this we chuckled at, because you truly get what you pay for with Vrbo sometimes. What we did NOT appreciate however, was as being woken up at 11pm (1am our time) to the sounds of loud partying going on in the gazebo that’s right NEXT to this cottage. We are unsure if the house is another rental or the owners live there, but either way, “peaceful” is not what we got, and the loud party went on long into the night. A shared rental should be disclosed in the listing, as we would absolutely not have chosen this property had we known we would be so close to someone else. Is suggest just renting the properties together. I would highly question whether this building is up to code as its own separate rental. For what we paid, the next night we got a whole house with three bedrooms in a very quiet neighborhood in a town with much more to choose from for around $50 more.

Summary: We were visiting family and just needed a bed near their home. This little cottage worked perfectly. Cozy, quaint, secluded and quiet. Had everything we needed. Had a little trouble getting in but host answered promptly and helped us solve issue. We will stay here again.

Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our time here. The kids really loved the upstairs attic space with the extra beds. The immediate area was nice but getting to the places we really wanted to see took at least an hour no matter which way we sliced it. Check in was easy and the lock PIN coded, so we didn't have to mess around with a key. Nearby grocery shopping allowed us to make use of the kitchen which seemed to have most things we needed for our meals. We did find they left a couple board games there and my wife and I did play. All that said, there were some downsides to this place as well. I'm not sure how often the owners check on various things at this place or bother to fix little things. Their dryer vent leading to the outside of the house was completely blocked at its exit and I was able to clear it so the dryer could actually dry clothes and not be a fire hazard. A few essential kitchen gadgets were missing, primarily a pizza cutter. The Wii upstairs didn't play any of the discs and I performed some basic troubleshooting but alas, could not fix the issue. Finally, the shower drained VERY SLOWLY. This should be an easy fix for homeowners and I'm really surprised that some of these basic things were not tended to prior to our stay.

Summary: This is a cute cottage that is on a very pretty wooded property. It is small but fit all 5 of us with kids sleeping up in the attic area! The outside sitting area is very nice and private. The kitchen is pretty good space, but this property is not really set up for eating a lot of meals in. The shower in the bath is lovely! We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay!

Summary: Nice stay in this cottage! As has been stated previously, access to the second bedroom area is precarious. We were fortunate that we didn’t need that extra sleeping space.

Summary: The cottage served as the perfect spot for family who were in town for a couple of days. The primary access to upstairs is through a drop-down set of stairs in the ceiling. I wouldn’t recommend older adults or heavier individuals trying to navigate the drop-down stairs. The owners provided a key for alternate access through the external stairs, which was much easier. Would stay again.

Summary: Cute Cottage with Character. The loft (with 2 beds) can either be accessed from outside stairs OR inside pull down stairs. Modern Shower & Tub. Heaters in wall and the 2 sunlights and French doors perfect! Kitchen Appliances (minus dish dishwasher appliance) run great! To save money we cooked/baked/grilled. Also nice to have a washer & dryer too! The cottage is located off the road way and secluded. Peaceful with birds chirping. Last time we visited Bremerton we stayed at the nearby Hampton in by the ferry. Hampton was nice especially their breakfast BUT we saved money by renting this cute cottage full of character!
