Summary: We had a great time here. Tanya is a great host who gives a lot of useful information. The house, the outdoor area and the pool are clean and well kept. Within an hour drive there are so many things to see. We already booked our stay for next year.

Summary: We, a family with 2 kids, really enjoyed our stay at this nice place. The apartment was big, comfortable and very clean. Beside the nice pool and the great location wirhin the olive trees we also enjoyed the silence and beautiful view over Umbria. The hosts, Tanja and Francesco, were very kind and supported whenever required. We'd like to thank you Tanja and Francesco for the great time in Umbria and looking forward spending our next holidays at this wonderful location sgain.

Summary: We've just returned from a lovely stay in the Podere Schiopello. The big country house is divided into separate apartments. Ours was really large and provided two decent bedrooms which easily accommodated me and my wife as well as our 4 children. The apartment was really well appointed with a nice, well equipped kitchen and sitting room as well as a large balcony with a really lovely view of the Umbrian countryside. Outside, in the garden, there was lovely, clean and well positioned pool. With great views from everywhere in the garden, it was a really nice place to spend time. There was also a roofed open room that provided shelter from the hot sun but equipped with pool, table football and ping pong tables which provided great diversion for our young children. The house also had dogs and cats wandering about which delighted our kids. Katia and Francesco were nice and friendly hosts.

Summary: The apartments are spotless. Well equipped and superbly located. Great for walks in the hills. Easy access to local towns and villages. The hostess and host are extremely helpful. There are lovely local restaurants serving super food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful.

Summary: We rented 2 two bedroom apartments which were connected for 8 nights. It was perfect for the 7 of us! The apartments were big, fully equipped, well kept with beautiful furniture, tasteful decor and amazing views of the Umbrian countryside. I wish we could have enjoyed the property more, but we were out everyday sightseeing everywhere from Siena to Florence and beyond. The cafe in Tavernelle had the best cappucino EVER! Tanja was very helpful and it was a nice treat having the local bakery van show up every morning. We were two adults with two 20 year old girls, one 19 year old boy, a 22 year old boy, and a 13 year old boy. The pool table and foos ball table were nice to have. Our only problem was getting around--even with a GPS. We got lost many times and it was very frustrating. This property is way out in the country so it was very far from some of the places we visited. There are plenty of wonderful places to visit which are closer, but we didn't figure that out until the last couple of days. We would definitely stay at Podere Schiopello again, but we would plan to tour closer and stay much longer. Todi, Montepulciano, and Siena were beautiful! I think you need at least 2 weeks at this property to really enjoy the area.

Summary: The reality exceeded our expectations. Umbrië is beautiful, Tanja and Francesco are great hosts, we met some nice people (and other kids for our children to play with) and the appartment and pool were more than ok. Made us immediately book again for next year.

Summary: We arrived early afternoon, and Tanja was there to greet us, and made us very welcome. We had the choice of two apartments and chose the one with the terrace. The weather could have been better, but we used the terrace for breakfast and evening cocktails, enjoying the expansive views of Umbria. The apartment was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen was ideal for indoor dining, very well equipped and spacious. The rural setting was ideal for touring, and in easy reach of Assisi and Perugia. Tanja gave us the address of a restaurant in Panicale, "Osteria Il Gallo nel Pozzo". Excellent dining experience in the town Piazza. Ask her too for the olive oil maker, mm mm mmm.
