Summary: Wonderful rustic "cabin" for a busy family if you are looking for something nicer than a camping experience, but not as elegant as an expensive condo. Bring extra utensils and a few pots/pans if you are cooking for a group (there was no potato masher or mixer) and your own seasonings. We loved the outdoor grill and tables. Four miles from the North Beach State Park, and eleven miles from the East Beach State Park. The Idaho side of the lake was calm and quiet and we had a perfect family weekend. The cabin has a game cupboard with several to choose from, and also a large selection of family movies. There is an air mattress in a basket, but it had a leak.

Summary: We had a wonderful family outing with 16 family members. We were happy with this cabin for the most part, but wish there were just a few things understood in the description before we booked. First, the good things: There was plenty of room, beds, etc... for our group. We were also happy that the place provided towels, soap and shampoo, garbage bags, paper towels, etc... And wifi and dish network were an added bonus. We were also very happy with the cleanup requirements... which were minimal. I've always wondered why we pay a big cleaning fee for these types of rentals, but then are required to do most of the cleanup before we leave. Not at this place... it was a cinch. Mostly just start any dishes, take out the trash and get the dirty linens/towels down the the washing machine and start a load. All these things were good. The downside was the description and pictures. Yes, it can accommodate up to 18, but it's deceptive how it accomplishes this. The various rooms look different/bigger than they are in the pictures. Also, this cabin isn't all by itself... it's in the middle of a bunch of other little cabins that you'll have to share parking with and listen to their noise. They provide pans and other utensils in the kitchen, but they are terrible. They are old and worn and there's not the right number of utensils to serve a large group. In the pictures, it looks like a nice cabin, but really it's just a thrown together building that kind of just looks like a cabin. It's fine... just very poor workmanship that was disappointing. Also the doors to two of the bathrooms are warped and don't quite fit into their doorways. This makes it hard to open and shut especially for little kids or older family members. Also, the crossbeams on the ceiling in the front master bedroom is all moldy. There's obviously been a water problem, though we didn't witness it. The couch in the living room has a recliner in it, however it was broken. It was tough to get all the way up and impossible to get it down. And finally, the big table in the dining room was great... it accommodated our whole group, but it was a little taller than a normal table, so the chairs were't the right height. Basically, an adult's mouth was level with the table, but the younger kids had to sit on their knees to make it work. All the said, it was actually a really good stay for us and we'd probably rent there again. It's just a "know before you go" vs expectations thing. We definitely expected a nicer place.

Summary: I had my whole family come and I've got to say it was a wonderful stay. Looks just like it shows. Far away from large crowds which we all loved. And we met some great people who were in smaller cabins next to us.

Summary: Good location, close to beach and town. Had all the amenities we needed. Some of the clean dishes were dirty, and they need to add a plug in strip on the counter for the microwave and coffee pot to make the kitchen setup more convenient. There is a small grass area around the cabin with picnic tables and a fire pit. 3 BBQs outside for shared use with the other small cabins surrounding the property, which were always available when we needed them. The Lake is gorgeous. Overall a great trip!
