Location was perfect And as close as it gets for walking to popoyo surf break and conveniently near great food options. We also found the property to be aesthetically gorgeous and intentional with so much attention to detail.

Positive: I stayed at TwoTen Surf Home over New Year, and it was the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of Popoyo. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing, sleeping under a mosquito net with the ocean breeze coming through the windows, and having quiet, peaceful nights made my stay here feel like bliss. My little house at TwoTen was simple but perfect—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy with just one sheet, and the ceiling fan kept the room cool. I loved having my own space to relax, including a hammock outside where I spent many hours reflecting and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Everything was spotless, and Ben, the owner of TwoTen, clearly takes pride in keeping the place in great condition. TwoTen offered the ideal balance for me—a calm, private space to relax while still being close to Amahula, the social hub next door. I appreciated being able to dip into the social scene when I wanted and then retreat to my own comfortable spot. Ben was welcoming, and the whole place had a laid-back charm. TwoTen is a peaceful spot that offers everything you need to recharge. I left feeling more relaxed and I’d love to return one day. Highly recommend it if you want a tranquil base in Popoyo with easy access to surf, stunning views, and a good night’s sleep.

Positive: Ben is an amazing host, the location is amazing and the staff is lovely. The room is clean and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped and the whole place is very well kept.
Negative: Wish there was warm water in the shower, and at least on the house where we stayed the kitchen was shared with another room, which was not an issue because the other room was empty most of the time and when other guests arrived they were very tidy, but it could be an issue depending on who you have to share it with.

Positive: The casa was super cute, very clean, well laid out, and best of all about 20m from the beach!! The spot is super close to the river you can cross to go the good surf spots. Or you can surf out front. It’s a quiet area, not much to do except be out on the beach! Which is perfect!
Negative: Mosquitos. Come prepared for mosquitos, especially if it’s rainy season. Mosquitos are difficult to avoid in Nicaragua or any warm country in rainy season.
Summary: Amazing location, cute and clean little casa, definitely worth the trip!

Positive: We had an awesome and relaxing stay at TwoTen. The whole place is very cozy, with a great atmosphere, a little garden with plants and a hammock, where you can relax after your surf session. The beds are also very comfy with fans in all rooms. It felt like a little oasis 50 meters from the beautiful beach. Also, Ben is an amazing host, always available and gives you great tips on what ro do in Popoyo. We definitely feel like going back already.
