Positive: Beautiful location, rooms/ beds comfortable, all very clean and appears newly refurbished. Lovely kitchen and bathrooms. Ample safe parking. Host freindly and approachable for any contact.
Negative: These are more minor points but I've suggested a coffee machine or caffettiere needed, plus tea pot would be good. We also felt the fake books and plastic plants unecessary and a bit odd. Addition of some local info eg reference books, map of walks instead of the staged books would be useful.
Summary: Lovely location, facilities and comfort for a family break.
