In 1865, the Bergerie stone built and renovated in 2011 by our local style and with a predominantly organic materials. The southwest facade opens onto the Etang (pond) of Kergrosse a Natutschutzgebiet with rare bird species, right after the garden. Inside, you have this panoramic view from the spacious living room (60 m2). A floor bedroom and an accessible bathroom in the terminal that allows even people with restricted mobility will feel with us. The granite walls in the interior and exterior provide not only the typical Breton atmosphere, but on hot summer days, the necessary freshness. If then in the fall or spring times effervesces from the Atlantic Ocean, the storm, you feel behind these walls, snug as a bug. After a walk along the cliffs or the beach, you can end your day in front of the stove

Summary: Great house, very comfortable, super equipped, and located in a beautiful place. Not a very long walk separated us from the ocean and the beautiful beach. We were very pleased to spend a week in Brittany. It is a pity that it is so far away from our home. Thank you!

Summary: After a 13 hour journey (!), we finally arrived in Erdeven... HOT HOT HOT! Wolfgang was waiting for us in the summer evening, with a very warm welcome and a bottle of cider. The house was lovely . We were a family of 5 – 2 adults and 3 children aged 5,8 and 11. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed many days at the beach, around a 15 minute walk. We absolutely loved the fact that you can cycle to so many places – morning baguette runs became the norm, although the local corner shop was often a little sparse in other areas. There are many cycle paths around which we loved, and easily tackled with the kids, including a 4 mile cycle to a local creperie – Manoir de Kercadio. Lots of lovely walks too (geocaching helped with this!). As for the house – I can’t really fault it, which must be the first time in 5 years! Lovely open plan feel, it was a little hot at night, but it was over 20 degrees outside at night, so you can’t really complain at that. The early morning heron on the pond was beautiful - maybe Wolfgang and Murielle could provide some binoculars for a better view?! Owners were great – very quick in responding to questions, and they refunded our deposit within 24 hours of leaving. Very well equipped house – weirdly no kettle, which for an English family was a bit strange although we worked out that the induction cooked was actually quicker. I really cannot fault this lovely house. It would have been nice to have one or two more restaurants, although there are still 2-3 to walk to in high season. There was a lovely restaurant in Kerhillio, next to the local corner shop – moules frites were great. Would happily recommend this lovely house, and area.

Summary: Thank you so much for this fantastic "last minute" spring holiday week in your wonderful authentic antique stone house overlooking a picturesque biotope lake. Very kind and helpful owners, perfect service, very tasteful interior design, all clean and cosy. Most convenient: it is only a ten minutes walk to the beach. We plan to come soon again!
