Ultimate cottage get away for all seasons with easy access on a plowed municipal road. The main cottage features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, a large family and dining room with large windows overlooking beautiful Twelve Mile Lake, kitchen and laundry facilities. Play on our awesome shallow entry sandy beach perfect for young kids. Use the dock for your boat (Marina is only minutes away) and explore this desirable 3 lake chain. Great lake for fishing in the summer or ice-fishing in the winter. Snowmobile right from the property.
Enjoy the expansive wrap-around deck with multiple sitting areas - dine or chill and just enjoy the view of the lake. The generous green space around the house is perfect for badminton, or simple enjoyment. Cosy up by the fireplace and watch a movie on the large flat screen Roku tv.
Water toys include: 2 stand up paddle boards, a kayak, 3 inner tubes and a large "waterlilly". There is an assortment of lifejackets here for your use.
Mattress covers, sheets, duvet/duvet covers and pillows/pillow cases are provided. As well as face towels, T towels and bathmats. Please bring your own bath / beach towels.
In the winter you can skate on the lake, or zip across on your sled to join up with the OFSC trails. Twin Lakes X-Country ski trails are just down the road. Downhill ski at Sir Sam's, a short 15 minute drive.
Conveniently located close to town of Minden, where you will find restaurants, local brew pubs, LCBO, supermarkets, quaint main street, and the local hospital is only minutes away.
There is ample parking for several vehicles and plenty of space for toy haulers.Great lake for fishing in the summer or ice-fishing in the winter. Very close to trails, Sir Sam's ski resort, golf courses and many local attractions.

Summary: Pros: - Very spacious for large groups. - Beautiful lakeview and easy access - A group of 7 seniors had a great time bonding, sharing and reminicing about old times. - All our needs were met! Cons: - Main bathroom on top floor for 5 people not properly cleaned. - Rustic kitchen has mediocre appliances - very small microwave) and minimal supplies. - Accessability to the top floor for seniors with mobility issues proved to be difficult. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again!

Summary: Overall, a wonderful cottage retreat! Location great, cottage spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. Grandkids had a blast with the lily pad and paddle boat. Adults enjoyed the paddle board.

Summary: We didn’t skip a beat when we got to Randi and Rich’s place. With 3 toddlers in tow, we had all the space we needed. The large deck gives us the best view of the dock and the little sandy beach area where the kids were playing. We had enough grass space to play corn hole (game in the shed) and pickle ball. Kitchen is huge too, lots of pots pans and utensils. 3 bathrooms is LUXURY! TV is a plus with kiddos! Water is shallow so no diving off the main dock. Beautiful lake with many neighbours but you still feel the quiet and serenity of nature around us. The bedrooms were a good size, a fan in every room was a nice touch. Thanks for the incredible long weekend!

Summary: This place is truly a lovely family getaway. Rustic but charming with beautiful access to the water! We spent the day on the dock, paddle boarding, swimming and playing on the water pad. The main floor is perfect to accommodate a large group of 10 and had all the necessary kitchen supplies to host. The mattresses were comfortable and there are fans in each room for the warm evenings. The panoramic view of the lake from inside the cottage makes for a relaxing weekend!

Summary: My Wife and I and our adult children rented the cottage for 4 days over New Years. We loved it! Lovely open concept, 4 bedrooms, great kitchen and a lovely fireplace. We went for walks, enjoyed board games and playing in the snow. Would for sure rent again.

Summary: We had a great time at Rich & Randi’s place. Lots of room for family to kick back and enjoy quality time together. Their cottage is close to Minden (in case you need anything in town) and just a hop, skip and a sled over the lake to the snowmobile trails. We’d definitely come back!
