Offering the ultimate in relaxation with unobstructed panoramic views of the village and mountains, this Hanmer retreat is just a 5-6 minute walk to the hot pools via the village centre.
Surrounded by other million dollar properties at the top of St James Ave, this home is perfect for your Alpine holiday or weekend escape. Cafés, Bars, shops and holiday activities are just a 2-3 minutes walk from your door.
The expansive wrap around deck and mature landscaping provide indoor/outdoor living rarely available. Enter the living and dining areas from the East and West decking, or enjoy wine or coffee on the sheltered North facing deck. The outdoor space is discretely fenced so you can be sure young ones are safe.
This well designed, spacious two level, four bedroom home has just been re-decorated and newly furnished to a very high standard, and is being offered for rent for the first time. A new ducted heat pump keeps all rooms cosy warm in winter and cool in summer. You can light the wood fire for added ambience. The large fully equipped kitchen has magnificent views and will let you do as much or as little as you like while you enjoy your stay.
The property sleeps up to 10 (maximum 8 adults) with a minimum stay of 2 nights. The master has a new king bed and an ensuite. There are two more queen beds (one is new), two singles and a set of new bunks.
The living includes free Wifi, Smart TV, Netflix and a Bluetooth theatre sound system. The downstairs bedroom also has a smart TV for your children or guests to have their own space if they need it.
Guests are required to clean this home upon departure so that it is tidy for the next guests, however we do offer an optional cleaning service for $145.
Please note bed linen and towels are not provided but may be requested as a chargeable option.

Summary: Two families shared this space. Bedroom downstairs was great for the three girls and it had its own tv separate to the lounge. Laundry facilities in the garage are new and easy to use. Bathrooms clean and modern. Kitchen is well serviced with everything that you could need. It was freezing when we arrived but the fire and the ducted heating system warmed us up. Would have been a nice addition if the property people had turned it on before we arrived but that’s the only grumble from what was a great weekend with family. It’s never easy to find a place that accommodates a variety of ages. We went in winter but the wrap around deck, with fantastic views means this is a great entertainment experience. We will be back .

Summary: Great views and facility, warm, clean, very handy to town centre. A real winner was the foosball in the garage which kept the grandchildren occupied when they weren't at the pools.

Summary: We absolutely loved this property. The location was very handy to the central of town where we found ourselves within walking/ biking distance to all activities. The home itself was immaculate , and no shortage on utilities. We could not of been more happier with the overall stay and experience of this beautiful home and stunning views. Summary: We had a fantastic two nights at this beautiful property, we didn’t use our cars once such a great outside area as well, perfect for the 4 couples we had staying from different parts of the South Island, the communication we had with Mal was great as well and we will definitely be booking here again in future!
