Positive: Staff is enthusiastic, helpful and hardworking however too few Food is good Beds are comfortable / Rooms are quiet Overall atmosphere is peaceful Great they don’t blast music in the dining area
Negative: Lack of attention and cleanliness in outdoor areas, pathways and stairs / outdoor furniture. e.g breakfast/ dinner patio has not been swept in ages. Unfortunate smell of rotten eggs surrounding the pool area Pool area should offer more shade Cheap finishings in bathroom

Positive: It’s a beautiful property - however we arrived after flooding - swimming pool was closed and not repaired during our stay. We booked a short vineyard tour but did not understand a word the guide was saying. Whilst the staff were lovely they also didn’t understand English and it was difficult to communicate anything. The room we were allocated was not the room I had booked and was misleading as the photograph depicted doors leading onto a terrace- this was not the case. We did move rooms to a shared terrace but it was not attached to the room and down the stairs. The spa was tiny and had an outdoor sauna which my partner used. When he had finished the spa was locked and he couldn’t access a towel or the showers. We asked for some teabags to make a cuppa and these took over 45 minutes to arrive. This hotel boasts a 5 star experience but we experienced a 3 star stay. There were other minor issues and I don’t usually complain but I think this hotel needs feedback.
Negative: Service/ language barrier/ value for money/understaffed areas/

Negative: Lack of staff, no bar to sit at, no staff around the pool. Very limited menu. Nothing to do in the evening no entertainment. No live music etc. No hanging space in the rooms, tiny shower room. No lifts to get to first floor with heavy luggage. (Staff elevator did not work). Not set up for more than a one night stay.
Summary: Beautiful setting in vineyards and nature, but no atmosphere in the evening and no staff anywhere! Won’t be staying the
