Positive: Uma Residence is great - great interior design and concept, wonderful rooms, we had a huge terrace with flowers attached to our room. Great sleep quality. Very cozy and beautiful garden, excellent breakfast. And very warm welcome from the host. Uma literally saved our last night in Nepal after we got a very disappointing experience with another hotel in Kathmandu. We’ll come back!

Positive: Quite upscale of setting. Secluded, beautiful outdoor area, and room layout and design is done professionally. Truly feels like am on a nice vacation. Only 15 min away from city center. Actually not far! Cheap taxi ride in and out.

Positive: Uma is just an amazing hotel! Super clean, nice and just the best place to relax in Kathmandu. We had the best sushi and other food during our trip here. We really enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Very nice place! Room, garden, stuff were super good.

Negative: Breakfast was weird. Not healthy oily and very bad coffee , so many positions and no choice.

Positive: Very very nice small hotel on the outskirts of Kathmandu, away from the noise and pollution of Thamel, yet 10mn taxi ride from the center. Very confi bed, beautiful siute with a terrasse facing mountain, city, and the garden. The garden has a pool but we didn t use it. Menu is not big but the food is really nicely cooked. For breakfast I had the healthy bkfast wich turned out to be excellent. There is a monastery next door that you can visit. The views of Kathmandu are excelent. Staff was very nice and very professional. I do recomend this hotel to experience an other side of Kathmandu..
