Summary: Very neat place!! Huge and spacious! Had an awesome coffee bar and 4 rooms (all rooms had 3 beds in them) and 3 bathrooms and a loft with another bed. Also had another lounge room in the upstairs! Played many games of Pac Man on the arcade game 😀 It was clean and bed was comfortable. Only downside: I was confused on checking in, was noted he was going to meet me at the inn, tried calling and messaging when i arrived with no response. Sat outside for 40 mins, then talked to the cook at the bar and he said if its unlocked you can just go in. After that, all was great! It was a wonderful get away and everyone was friendly. Bar is 20 steps away with decent food and a friendly atmosphere. Will definitely return!! Also a little side note, I expected it to be like a Bed and Breakfast with other people able to rent a room and share common areas, but no, you get the ENTIRE place to yourself!!!!

Summary: Loved it! The place is huge for just one couple, but it was a fun change from hotel rooms and tiny cabins on our vacation. The bar/grill next door served good food, and they weren't too loud late at night. We didn't need much for one night, but it was nice to know there's a full kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and laundry. Everything was clean and ready for us. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area another time. This would be a fun place to stay with a large group. Thank you!

Summary: My son was invited to Colome High School‘s prom and we needed a place to crash overnight. It was perfect since it was within walking distance of the high school, and right next-door to a restaurant/bar. When my friend needed a place to hang out for a bit between prom parent volunteering, it was so wonderful to have a comfortable place to host her that was perfect for hanging out and chatting. We were amazed by the number of beds they were able to squeeze into the rental, even though we didn’t need that many. I can see how this would be a really great place for a large family gathering. There are so many pockets and corners to squeeze people and have different activities and conversations happening at the same time. I really loved the coffee/tea bar in the morning. It was wonderfully thought out. If you are staying in one of the bedrooms near the entrance, I would recommend earplugs, since there was some noise from smokers outside the bar in the wee hours of the morning, and flashing lights from the police a bit later. My Colome friend tells me that is not normal for Colome, and I know it is not the fault of the VRBO owner. If my son is invited to prom next year, I really, really hope this place is available again.

Summary: This property (which, I'm told, used to be Colome's hardware store) has great appeal in an eclectic way. It's huge, and though it was more than one person needed, I came away thoroughly charmed. It's slightly worn, but I expected that, being the old building it is. In considering perspective occupants I'd say, "Go on, take a chance, you won't be sorry!" I would stay here again, and would invite friends and family to join me. Thanks, JoDee
