An absolutely incredible location in Crested Butte, 215 Butte borders permanent open spaces and enjoys stunning and forever protected views of the Paradise Divide mountains, Gothic Mountain, Mt. Crested Butte and the Slate River valley. From this spot it is an easy walk or townie bike ride to Elk Avenue shopping, dining and nightlife. Out the back door you can hit the trails in winter for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing and in summer you can easily start your hike or bike ride out to Peanut Lake and the Lower Loop!
The almost 4,000 SFT layout is perfect for large family gatherings and Colorado style entertaining with an open plan that puts the living, dining, kitchen and master suite on the main level that connects to the huge deck via double doors. The living room’s floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace is a wood burner! Just off the entryway there is a dedicated butler’s “bar” room making it easy to grab a drinks when everyone is hanging out on the big front porch. Downstairs there is a spacious second living area with a full wet bar and a fridge, two more bedrooms and two baths. Upstairs features a third living area and a fourth bedroom suite. The elegant home was built in 2005. The 1/4 acre property features gorgeous mature trees and landscaping, flagstone patios, a wrought iron fence, and a hot tub and flagstone fire pit with the same amazing views.

Summary: I rented this home to host my friends for my 40th birthday. The home is gorgeous and location is unbeatable! Everyone loved the views and using the hot tub. Owners were very communicative and left easy to read instructions. Especially loved the easy checkout procedures. Hoping to make this an annual trip and would love to rent again!

Summary: We had a wonderful long weekend in Crested Butte celebrating the new year! The host was very helpful and responsive. The house was gorgeous and the view off the back deck was incredible.

Summary: Comfortable house to sleep seven people. The communal space in this house was perfect for entertaining, the views off the back deck are second to none. We walked into town for food and drink, but also enjoyed the quiet street the house is on. We would definitely return to this property for future stays in Crested Butte. Highly recommend!

Summary: Getaways to Crested Butte are always wonderful, but especially at this incredible property. As you can see from the photos and the description, the house backs up to protected open space. The views are forever - absolutely stunning. We spent each night on the back deck enjoying the sunset and then a glorious black night filled with stars. The house was extremely clean, well-appointed, comfortable and filled with personal touches - just like you would expect from similar homes. However, but what really sets this place apart is the incredible location. We are looking forward to our next visit to this special gem in CB.

Summary: Amazing property in a prime location. Views are spectacular, and you can walk or ride the mountain bus to all activities. We had a month-long stay and enjoyed every minute. The house was perfect for teens with the large media room and bedrooms in the basement. Garage guest house served perfectly as an office. Not sure you can beat this property for larger groups in CB.

Summary: Wonderful trip with kids and infants at this home. This is a perfect place to stay when you are trapped at home for long stretches! Lots of different places to explore and relax. And the view on the back porch is incredible. There were some small inconveniences in the house, but nothing major. Next time we are back in CB we plan to stay here! Thanks for having us.

Summary: Great place to stay. Easily walk into town for some dining and shopping. Layout worked well for family of 10, ages 4-67. Skiing was wonderful. We have been coming to CB for over 45 years and always love visiting.

Summary: We shared this property with another family and combined we had 6 boy teenagers ages 13-17. The second living area in the basement complete with a kitchen, foosball, popashot, and 85" tv were a godsend. The house was first class and well appointed and it is in a very quiet area of town. Highly recommend.
