Staying at home in paradise for your vacation/staycation will be a joy this winter because you will find comfort in this lovely abode!
The nicest thing is that the home is truly a beautiful and a peaceful place by any standard. You will love the great location and privacy. The entire home is surrounded by a six foot wooden privacy fence that starts before your front door. You get the best proximity to the beach (1 mile away) AND the excitement of Downtown Hollywood (walking distance). This rare gem is a unique sanctuary just minutes to the Fort Lauderdale airport and near the all the best shopping and restaurants on Los Olas (15 minutes). The property is well maintained with lots of windows to enjoy the sunlight. Towels, linens and toiletries are provided.
-Bedroom: King size super comfy mattress.
-Living Room: Large TV with Roku streaming channels. Super nice U-shaped sectional. If you take the pillows taken off the back of the couch it makes a very nice second bed or you may opt for the queen blow up mattress should there be additional guests or kids.
-Kitchen: Lovely kitchen with white cabinetry, black stainless appliances, champagne gold fixtures and gray granite countertop. Fridge is large and brand new with French doors and ice maker, matching stove, dishwasher and lots of cabinets.
-Bathroom: Bathtub
-Tech: High speed internet. Roku TV
- Dedicated parking for one vehicle in driveway out front. Street parking easily available for second vehicle.

-Very safe area East of US 1 called Hollywood Lakes
-Walk to downtown Arts Park (Young Circle)
-Beach is a five minute drive or 15 minute bike ride
-Golf course within view with a running path
-Los Olas is a 15 minute drive
-Fort Lauderdale airport is 7 minute drive
-Miami Beach is about a 30 to 45 min drive depending on traffic

Summary: We had some maintenance issues at first, but Colleen and Maria were quick to correct them and communicate updates. The backyard is gorgeous, with a hammock and a fire pit, and I used the outdoor couch as a work-from-home office during our three-week stay. Overall, a great stay!
