Welcome to our family home and horse rescue. Our upstairs lavender room has 2 double beds plus ensuite full bath! We cater to older adults, couples and working professionals. Please observe our check in hours 4p-8p. WE DO NOT ACCEPT LATE ARRIVALS as there are no street lights and we are hard to find in the dark. We're 5 minutes from I 29 and just 1 mile from IHOP, Cheddars, Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden & all the best eateries.! No guest fridge but we do have a microwave in our dining room along with dishes, silverware and fresh iced tea! Bonus rooms for extra guests/couples/small groups (groomsmen/bridesmaids) with custom breakfast options available for groups of 4! Fresh coffee and grab-and-go breakfast always included!. Let us know what you need and we will customize accommodations for you! NO TEXTING PLEASE (land line only!)

Summary: Hostess showed us our upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Anything needed on the main level like space in the fridge, coffee, or microwave the hostess graciously served us. If you need to get a walk in there is a short driveway to walk down.

Summary: The room was large and nice. Beds extremely comfortable. My daughter was allowed to help with the horses which she loved. Great conversation with the host. Definitely would stay again. Terrific value. Sharon was very helpful with suggestions of things to do and where to eat.

Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed my single night stay last weekend. Sharon was TERRIFIC on every level!! When I got there I followed her when she did the evening "horse chores", which was delightful!! We candidly visited in the evening about our "traveling adventures", which was so much fun! My room on the 2nd level was spacious & clean with plenty of toiletries & lovely towels. Because of the "quiet location", I slept very well on the comfortable bed. Sharon graciously offered me coffee before I left the following morning. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a stay at this location, hosted by a hard working, conscientious, charismatic woman. THANK YOU SHARON FOR ALL YOUR HOSPITALITY---making this overnight stay a memorable one, for many reasons!!!!

Summary: Sharon was great with communication before we arrived. Arriving was easy. The property is out in the country in a lovely setting. GPS took us right to it. The host is welcoming to her guests. She was friendly and gave us suggestions of where to go in St. Joseph. This is, indeed, a working farmhouse with horses and a dog. She and her housekeeper keep it very clean, and the house itself is in very good shape. Multiple rooms are rented out upstairs. Ours was very cute. Everyone has their private bathroom. Our bathroom was spacious with no issues. It was very quiet overnight for our stay. Everything you could ever want in terms of dining, shopping, and recreation is all within a 10-15 minute drive into St. Joseph. This is not a full Bed & Breakfast, but if you read the description on the website, you'll know exactly what to expect. We were completely satisfied with our stay.
