Welcome to Lake Lure, surround by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. Our area is in a thermal belt at the base of Hickory Nut Gorge with breathtaking views, hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, quaint little towns and more. Enjoy your stay in our cozy studio villa in Rumbling Bald Resort and all of the amenities it has to offer.
Located 1.2 miles from the Rumbling Bald Resort, enjoy FULL ACCESS to the resort with the peacefulness of a mountain retreat. Remodeled, you'll be at home with all of the cozy comforts in this adorable studio. An upstairs unit complete with a full kitchen, a queen sized bed and a set of bunk beds, you can relax and unwind, take a lake cruise, go golfing for the day, hang out at the lakefront beach, take a dip in one of the pools, or enjoy the endless activities at the wellness/rec center and spa.
SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS: Enjoy a queen sized bed and a set of bunk beds for a total of 4 guests.
LIVING AREA: There is a comfortable couch with a flat screen TV, cable service. There is an Apple TV for you to use to access Netflix, Hulu, and other platforms. There are board games available for adults and children.
KITCHEN: Complete with a full-sized oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, and all of the cooking essentials.
Need groceries? We're a short walk through the parking lot to reach the Apple Valley Mart where you can restock on most essentials. Ingles Grocery Store is approximately 15 minutes away.
BATHROOM: The bathroom features a shower/tub combo with a separate sink area.
LAUNDRY: There is a stackable washer and dryer in the condo.
DINING AREA: Enjoy your snacks and meals inside at the countertop seating or out on the back patio. You can also grill out with one of the charcoal grills located just outside or set up a picnic at the covered pavilion.
ALL GUESTS HAVE ACCESS TO THE RUMBLING BALD RESORT!
The resort features all the convenience, entertainment and amenities you need! Most of the features are located within 1.2 miles away from the villa and can be accessed with the guest passes you will receive at check in.

Summary: We could not have had a better experience. The unit was one of the best appointed than any we have stayed at. And you cannot beat the location within minutes of the Rumbling Bald Resort.

Summary: Enjoyed our visit to Lake Lure,NC.Our communication with our hostess was excellent and very attentive to our questions. It was small but perfect for 2 people. The highlight was seeing a wild bear at the condo wondering in the parking lot soon after we arrived. Thank you so much for your kindness and efficiency in making our trip a positive one!!

Summary: Everything was better than described. Very clean. We'll equipped kitchen! New appliances, comfortable beds. Most VRBO properties give you a "starter" supply of things but here you had as many essentials as you needed! Coffee, tea, breakfast bars, toilet paper, paper towels, pantry items, towels. There were even beach chairs, blankets and toys to use on the beach.

Summary: This vacation rental was a short drive to the downtown Chimney Rock area. It was great having passes included to the The Rumbling Bald resort, which allowed access to the lake, putt putt, basketball and tennis courts, and more. The rental was very clean and well appointed with lots of kitchen supplies and thoughtful things like granola bars and oatmeal, as well as frequently used spices and condiments. I would highly recommend this place!

Summary: This property was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the unit had everything you could need including coffee, snack, and games. The porch was gorgeous for a cup of coffee in the morning, though there were many cars on the main road which you could hear. This wasn't an issue though as everything else was perfect. We also enjoyed the pool and lake at rumbling resort as part of our stay. It was a perfect! I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Summary: My twin teenage daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while in Lake Lure. The property was easy to find, well-lit at night, and felt very safe for the three of us. I am a bit of a clean freak, and this condo went above and beyond my standards! It was also a pleasant surprise to find it better stocked than any other vacation homes I’ve ever rented-pots & pans, all kinds of dishes and silverware, a super nice assortment of coffee, teas, and snack bars, and even those things no one ever seems to think of (pillar candles in case of storm, batteries, scissors, paper & pen, tape)!! It was decorated beautifully and so convenient to absolutely everything. When I had an issue getting in upon arrival (user error), the host was super fast in responding, too. We love to visit LL and always stay somewhere in RBR, and will most definitely stay at this home again-a perfect “home away from home!”
