Summary: Overall it was fine. The property was in need of several small repairs and some updating. The washer and dryer were dirty inside and there were old coffee grounds in the coffee maker when we checked in. There was no toilet paper so we had to walk up to the corner market to get some on the first night. The owner did apologize and gave us a $25 refund.

Summary: Our family of seven loved this house! It was perfect for our beach vacation. Sylvan Beach is within walking distance, which we did the first day. We chose to drive to the other end of the beach, where the water was a little deeper the other days. The bulkhead across the street from the house was the perfect place for the kids to play Frisbee and to take pictures. The only thing with the house is that it is cooled by window units. Not a big deal, but the front room was hot. We found a box fan in the master bedroom closet and set it in front of the window unit in the living room and that helped quite a bit. Erin is a fabulous and generous hostess, super sweet and great with the kids. They are enjoying the fairy lights she gave them. Thank you, Erin, for helping make our vacation a memorable one!

Summary: Erin was extremely helpful throughout our stay. We decided to book this rental because they allowed dogs, and it’s close proximity to the beach. Updating the listing is recommended. The down stairs is occupied by the owners, which is perfectly fine, just not disclosed in the listing. We have children and large dogs but felt like we were bothering the owners with noise because of the kids/dogs. Overall the place is awesome. Just a little hot in the bedrooms at times. Would recommend bringing your own fans as well. They do supply 3 or 4 of them during your stay.

Summary: Erin was so sweet. She brought breakfast up for the kids one morning, took them on a walk with her dogs, gave them crafts to do, and even sang songs she wrote to keep them occupied while we were getting everything ready to go home. She went above and beyond as a host!

Summary: Need us some Vitamin Sea... Excellent place and host. Loved every memory. Had everything we needed. Place was clean, bed comfy, the place felt like home with good company. Quiet area, close shopping, beach area walking distance, public pool close. Kemah Boardwalk is near. The host are amazing. Can't wait to see what else you do to it by our next time we stay. Thank you for AAA service. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Summary: Beautiful house really close to the water. Erin was an amazing hostess. Stores were just minutes away. The only down fall that was beyond her control were the swarms of mosquitoes and apparently a ship had some sort of spill prior to our visit which put a damper on fishing. Definitely a place we will visit again just call ahead to check water conditions and bring extra bug spray.
