Positive: The hosts and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. I was offered coffee, home baked warmed scones, with whipped cream and a selection of preserves, homemade biscuits on each of the two days I was there. This historical building has been tastefully restored and the rooms are very comfortable. Buffet Breakfasts served in the dining room very enjoyable with a variety of breads, toast, preserves, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruits, cheeses, cold meats, fresh fruit juice, freshly cooked boiled eggs, a coffee machine and Tea served in real decorative china teapots to the guests who are all seated around one big dining room table.
Negative: I would have appreciated if there was a sign with an arrow pointing to the right saying Hotel Car Park at the junction of the two roads, I inadvertently drove straight ahead and ended up mistaking the old church as the hotel.
Summary: I would describe staying at this hotel as a friendly positive experience venue.

Positive: The staff was so personable. We met Sylvia and had tea with her. The room was very nicely decorated and the bed was super comfortable. They have done an incredible job in renovating this beautiful house. I would recommend this place a million times over.
Negative: We loved everything. One improvement would be more signs to direct you to the property behind the large dormitory that you first see when you enter the property.
Summary: A beautiful stay in the Irish countryside.

Positive: Sylvia was so welcoming so was the girl in the dining room. This place is going to be amazing when it’s finished. It is steeped in history and the careful owner is making sure it remains that way. It’s going to be a fabulous wedding venue or just a great place for events. There is so much work done. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable, we slept well. Breakfast was good too. Looking forward to going back sometime in the future when it’s complete.
Negative: The tea and coffee making facilities. We wished we were served tea & coffee from the kitchen. Too many people trying to make coffee.
