Summary: Over the years I’ve stayed in dozens of rentals; this one might be my very favorite. It has the right combination of cleanliness, tasteful/upscale furnishings and decor, privacy, and the loveliest host ever. I was a last minute guest and Debbie was so gracious and welcoming. The bungalow in within walking distance to numerous restaurants and attractions in Mt. Dora. You’ll love staying here.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Uptown Bungalow! The bungalow was so clean and had everything we needed and more. It was beautifully decorated and there were special touches everywhere that made it comfy and cozy. The location was great as well. Working with the owner was the best part - she is wonderful and extremely communicative, nice and helpful. I'd go back in a second!

Summary: The Hemingway was perfect for our Anniversary getaway. Exceeded our expectations. From the welcome basket to all the amenities of home. I love how clean the house was. Debbie was wonderful. She gave us recommendations on dinning and activities. They did not disappoint. We will definitely be going back.

Summary: Our 3 nights at the The Hemingway were perfect! The bungalow is impeccably clean, very cozy, the beds are super comfortable, and it was quiet which was very important to us. Debbi’s attention to detail and little extras to make our stay enjoyable was first rate, and she was quick to respond to my messages prior to booking. Totally recommend staying here!

Summary: This property was centrally located for a girls weekend of antiquing, shopping and relaxing walks with our dog. Quiet neighborhood (even with an event happening at the business next door - it was over by 10pm!) House was very clean and nicely decorated. Perfect for two adults and a dog - but may be tight for a larger party. Lanai was wonderful for enjoying morning coffee (but bring extra K-cups if you drink more than one cup/day). Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and there are restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this adorable stylish bungalow. So much so that we stayed two extra days. Our host Debbie missed nothing from communications with us before and during our stay when needed, making us feel welcome, the absolute darling style and decor of the Hemingway. So clean, everything you need, walking distance to uptown and downtown, comfortable beds and all the details I haven’t even thought to mention. 5 stars highly recommend!

Summary: The Hemingway was a very comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and stylish rental ! It’s close enough to walk to restaurants and shops and a perfect place to call home for a Mt Dora getaway. Debbie is a great host and her attention to detail made our stay such a pleasure from special biscuits for our pups, a goodie basket for my granddaughter and snacks for all. You won’t be disappointed if you book the Hemingway!!

Summary: Like someone else said, if I had a VRBO I'd want it to be like this one. The place has been renovated top to bottom and was super comfortable. Felt like home after about 10 minutes. Host was great to work with and super responsive. We will be back!
