Positive: Friendly and helpful host. Apartment was well equipped and resourced for self catering, although we ate out a fair bit. Good value cafés and restaurants within walking distance, with a wide culturally diverse choice. Local supermarkets (Edeka and Netto) close by. The M41 bus stopped virtually outside the door with a regular service to the city centre. Easily accessed from Berlin Brandenburg airport using the Express bus and U Bahn, via Rudow. The excellent ‘Indian Summer’ weather helped - sunny every day with blue skies!

Negative: The mezzanine bed with steps to access was a bit daunting at first, but caused no difficulties for us, both in our late seventies.

Summary: Comfortable and convenient ground floor apartment, with good access to the city.
