Negative: water didn't work well, lights ran out before morning, stove wasn't working to standard, cold air kept seeping thru the cracks and fire place hole where the fire place used to be. could do with a few modern touches

Negative: Off grid - no appliances after 1600, no heating (and no fireplace), hot water not very hot. Upstairs is a mezzanine type level so hot very smoky with indoor braai smoke. Children were reprimanded for running upstairs because caretaker lives in part of the house.
