Summary: The farm is very quiet and the view from the balcony was so calming. The setup of the beds in the three bedrooms was perfect for us and the beds were very comfortable. Nice hosts and as a bonus, there is a small pool to cool down in.

Summary: After time in many German cities and towns, our stay at Ralf’s farm was a welcome change of pace. His family was kind without being intrusive and the space was clean and neat. The surrounding towns offered some nice restaurants and grocery stores, and we even visited a fun pool/water park.

Summary: We, Dutch-American family of 4 with 2 children 9/7y, had an overall pleasant stay. Things we appreciated: - Clean, modern apartment (loved the central vacuum system!) - Friendly hosts - Beautiful, quiet rural site w/ farm animals - Closeness to Bodensee, Swiss border, etc. - Amazing dog (who spontaneously guided during forest hike!) - Good price-quality deal Good to know: - There are 2 upper-floor apartments, with hosts (parents of owner) living downstairs. The 1st night we were placed in the smaller apartment by mistake, but it is still an ok size for a family of 4. However, we felt the level of noise coming from the family in the larger apartment was quite intrusive. Also, they left very early next morning and woke all of us up while packing bags, walking around and chatting. It's not that the family was extremely loud, our apartment just wasn't very soundproof. This was disappointing, because we are 'light' sleepers and our kids are quite noisy themselves, which is why we picked a more remote location for our stay. The 2nd and 3rd night in the larger apartment (very nice!) were much better for us, as bedrooms are not directly connected to the other apartment. - although it is stated in the information, we had initially overlooked that the pool can not be used during the coldest months of the year. It is also not very large up close, so not necessarily an asset for older kids. Instead, we visited a modern swimming pool in Tuttlingen (Tuwass; 15 min drive), which was worth a visit but also very busy on the weekend. - The hosts only spoke German and that limited communication somewhat. That was a pity, because we would have liked to ask more questions about the surroundings and they appeared very nice and willing to help out.

Summary: This is a modern house built on the family farm. While you're there, you are a guest of the family who own and run the farm, and you're very welcome. This holiday rental is one half of the upper floor of the house; the other half is rented separately; downstairs is used by the extended family. As the house is modern it's fairly compact but very well equipped and very comfortable. There is a swimming pool that is both heated and covered, which is very well kept. There's an open barn that has things like table football and pingpong. There are lots of leaflets of places to visit, and also several walks that you can do from the door. This is a lovely area of Germany, on the edge of the Schwarzweld, and there's lots to explore and do. Highly recommended!

Summary: Stayed with twin 3yr olds, a 6 month old baby and their grand parents. Location was perfect. Children's play things freely available, the pool was perfectly sized and the rural setting was just as we wanted. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped. Advice on a local restaurant was also great and could walk to it through the woods. Thank you Ralph for making us feel very welcome The halfacre family

Summary: 2 adults & 2 children (7-12). The children had a private swimming pool which had always the right temperature. There were a lot of toys available to play with. It's a quit place and sufficient comfort for the right price. A lot of walks and bikerides are possible in the environment. A long the donau even children can ride the bike. Bodensee is 40 minutes by car.

Summary: We had this property on our favorite list for a few months and kept saying when we find a long weekend we should go ... luckily we had sometime and made a 4 day weekend and the place was great. We used it as a jumping point to Bodensee as it was only 20 to 30 minutes away. The apartment was perfect, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The Schmid's are great and took a lot of time to show us around and my son had a fantastic time. It's seem small but there is a family photo as you walk into the front entrance of the building and the smile/laugh of Herr Schmid tells you everything you need to know, that this property and how they will treat you ... it will be perfect. Thank you very much. If you have a family and looking for a quiet place to go and play by the lake we would highly recommend Sipplingen, pizza at the local restaurant and then just sitting on the shore with our son throwing rocks, just 20 minutes away.

Summary: We had a wonderful two weeks on the farm. The apartment is large, well equipped, and beautiful, the owners are very helpful and friendly without being at all intrusive. We felt truly at home! Highlights include the many walks through the woods, the pool, the toys for the kids, and the easy accessibility of Lake Constance with its wealth of beautiful towns, churches, and things to do. A wonderful break in the country - but close enough to get out for the day and experience all that South Germany and Switzerland have to offer.

Summary: The flat is very clean & pretty. The parents live downstairs and the 2 flats are beside each other upstairs. Good room in the flat, the worst problem was there was NO air conditioning at all not even a fan! Heat was early 40's which was not good when the house is roasting day & night. The pool was fine, the kids enjoyed playing in it at times when it was empty. The farm had drainage works going on from 8am each day. Lovely place just not somewhere to go if you want to sleep past 6am. No shops open on a Sunday other than a bread shop so beware of this if arriving late on a Saturday as we were not. We loved our holiday in Germany a beautiful place.

Summary: Myself and my fiancé were staying for a week on the farm. When we arrived there was a note on the door letting us know where the key was, which was very helpful. On arrival the flat was in immaculate condition. There is absolutely nothing I would change about this flat! The bathroom is beautiful, the shower is very large. Later, we met Ralf, the farm owner, who was so helpful, friendly, warm and everything you could wish for in a host. After we had unpacked into the generously sized wardrobes, we took a dip in the pool, which was clean, warm and very safe for kids (despite not having any!). The bed was very comfortable! The location is so peaceful, surrounded by green fields, everything you see in the pictures is no exaggeration! The kitchen is brand new, easy to use and plenty of cupboard space for food. Overall, we cannot say enough good things about this farm apart from that we wish to return as soon as possible! Book it whilst you can!
