The large, comfortably furnished 4.5 room apartment (2-6 people) is located in the 2nd Floor of an apartment building. Quiet, sunny, central location with views of the surrounding mountains. The apartment is very spacious and offers plenty of space for a relaxing stay. From the large balcony you have free view to the south and west.
Three bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds and one with a large single bed). Baby cot and highchair available on request

The kitchen is fully equipped, with all common appliances and common kitchen utensils. (Dishwasher, ceramic glass hob, fridge with freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, raclette grill oven, toaster, kettle, fondue equipment, juicer)

From December 2019, the new gondola lift with train station is in the immediate vicinity of the apartment.

In winter, skiing in the Aletscharena, cross-country skiing in Goms or leisurely hikes, on many winter hiking trails in the Goms and the Aletscharena.

Summary: Absolutely amazing property. Super spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook for an entire week for a family. It was the cleanest and most comfortable place we have stayed in! And the garden out front overlooking the mountains is very calming. Highly Recommended! We hope to be back next summer!

Summary: We were very late booking our holiday this year so were delighted to see that Bamatta was available, having spent a lovely week there two years ago. This time we chose to spend our whole two week holiday in Fiesch, and also to fly to Geneva and rent a car rather than driving all the way from England, The apartment was as lovely as we remembered- perfectly clean and comfortable. With a two week stay we ate more meals at home, so we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and central location - the supermarket, bakery and butcher/deli are a few minutes' walk away. We explored some different places this time, both close to Fiesch and further away. We particularly enjoyed walking at Bellwald and the challenging drive over the Furka pass to Andermatt. We also visited Luzern, the Simplon Pass area and Zermatt, and had some quiet days relaxing on the balcony in the sunshine. Overall we had a lovely two weeks and we'd like to thank Valeria for maintaining such a lovely apartment.

Summary: We spent a fantastic 9 nights at the property. The property has breathtaking views with cable cars passing in front and the train to the rear. The flat was clean and practical. We took trains and cable cars the whole time we were there. There are some great walks around and we had no need to drive there at all. Valerie was very helpful and accommodating and the flat was well kitted out. Highly recommended!

Summary: We spent 2 full weeks in this fantastic chalet in Fiesch. The location is very convenient as it is close to all shops, restaurants and cable cars. The chalet has 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The flat is extremely clean and has all services you require. The outdoor balcony is very relaxing with an attractive view of the mountains. The owner lives on the first floor and has been extremely helpful during our stay. All together, I would give this apartment/chalet a full 5 stars and would recommend it to any family that wants to spend a great vacation in the Alps. Filip Devogeleer August 2017

Summary: Our family of four (parents plus two older teenage girls) spent a lovely week at this apartment in late July/early August. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Valeria, the owner. She was looking out for us as the entrance is a bit fiddly to negotiate the first time. Valeria lives downstairs and has a wealth of local knowledge so can suggest restaurants and activities as needed. The apartment is very spacious, well equipped with high quality kitchen appliances and immaculately clean. The three bedrooms are of ample size and there is a comfortable sitting room with sofas and TV. We were there during a very hot spell and it was lovely to sit out on the balcony, which enjoys a panoramic view of Fiesch. There's always something to watch (such as cable cars going up and down the mountain, and the train winding it's way along the valley) and of course spectacular mountains. The small town of Fiesch is in a beautiful area - we recommend the family day ticket on the cable cars and trains. We saw the Aletsch glacier and took several walks around the area. We also did some day trips by car - we enjoyed a day in historic Sion, the spectacular Reichenbach Falls (of Sherlock Holmes fame) and Interlaken. The area surrounding the apartment is quiet at night and calm during the day. We do not tolerate noise very well, but were not disturbed in this apartment and slept well. The nearby trains do not run during the night but the church bells do chime in the distance, and the rooster sometimes calls in the morning too. Nothing that woke us too early though. All part of the Switzerland village experience! All in all, a very enjoyable stay with a lovely and attentive host. We would gladly return.
