Summary: A modern, clean and spacious hotel. Our family room was fantastic, our daughter loved her bunk beds and the large cuddly toy animals left to play with. The hotel even left a rucksack and soft toy for our young son in his cot. Lovely bath, large comfy bed with TV in front. Really happy with the accommodation. Probably more of a business hotel than traditional family hotel, but the facilities were still great for kids and staff were very helpful to accommodate our young kids. There is a small play area with slide and climbing frame and my daughter especially enjoyed watching the chickens! The service could not have been better, hotel reception and restaurant staff helped to warm milk and meals for our children and gave helpful guidance for trips into the city. There is a large supermarket right next to the hotel built into the Gent football stadium which next door. Incredible location on a matchday. Worth noting that the hotel is a small distance from central Gent. We found it easy to reach by bus and tram (25 mins total). The hotel staff offered to arrange us taxis for approx $20. Driving was a little trickier due to the low emission zone in central Gent but again staff pointed us towards parking options.

Summary: Amazing hotel for families.The family suite really spacious and clean.Kids room with bunker beds, kids book and teddy bear. Very friendly staff, welcome drink champagne and small plush toys for the kids. Room with a nice view and very comfortable bed. Wood room card, no plastic. Special kids box with shampoo and bath amenities. Morning breakfast buffet very good with a lot of options and everything really tasty and fresh. Totally recommend it for a family stay.

Summary: Quality, luxury and high-tech are 3 words that come to mind. A distance from Ghent centre but easy and exciting transport on local bus and tram. Staff are first class - special mention of a waitress in the Lobby bar ( short Cambodian lady) who provided friendly and excellent service to my family.

Summary: As always Van de Valk hotels of high standard did not disappoint. Easy checkin friendly staff. Comfortable and well appointed room. Excellent restaurant ,really well prepared dishes served in a timely manner making it an enjoyable experience

Summary: It was difficult to find the entrance to the carpark for the hotel. Safe parking with barrier entry. €10 per night. Restaurant was the only place to eat in the evening due to refurbishment. Food and service were excellent although a bit pricey The roof top bar was closed on the Wednesday night when we stayed Separate toilet and shower room ( no door on shower room ) which was handy. Lighting in shower room wasn't very bright, not good enough to put your make up on ! Selection of teas was limited to either green tea of earl grey. We felt that the pillows were too soft and there was no opportunity to change. Breakfast selection was extensive, we enjoyed our meal. Overall a good stay but could have been a bit better for the price
