Positive: We liked the recent changes made to the hall, the bar and restaurant,, which made it feel a lively, colourful space and the hub of the hotel. The staff were kind and helpful and the food and drinks excellent - the terrace especially, has been developed in a very attractive and practical way allowing it to be either indoor or outdoor space within minutes. We didn't have breakfast this time but expect to next time. Instead we enjoyed both restaurant and bar meals, drinks and snacks. The funicular railway was running to the Thermes which made accessing it very easy. Having known and liked the hotel in its previous guise, it was exciting to see all the changes and how much more colourful and enjoyable it had become. One small point, the drying line in the bathroom for swimwear is very useful and worthwhile.

Negative: My only issue was the mattress on the bed that felt uneven and wasn't stable enough for me as I need a hard and solid mattress. But otherwise everything else was fine.

Summary: Very enjoyable and a new experience - one we hope to regularly repeat

Negative: The price charged for charging my electric vehicle. At 0.82 euros it is compatible with fast chargers on the motorway. Not a 22kw charger. Far too much
