2 Bedroom Boat Rental in Queensborough, New Westminster

A great getaway to visit the city but feel like your in the country. This boat is so fun for families and friends to enjoy their vacation. Centrally located , 20 minutes to the airport, 25 minutes right downtown. 2 blocks to the bus and easy access to skytrain. There is alot more to this area than downtown. Twenty minutes to the USA, 20 minutes to Whiterock and Crescent Beach, 20 minute to Richmond Steveston and Fishermans Wharf. Welcome to the historical area of Queensborough Peninsula, We have just moved to a new Marina only 150 Metres east but very quiet with only 5 boats. We can no longer hear the sawmill. The space is very private as you have the entire boat to enjoy. Everyone loves the surrounding wildlife especially our famous Swan couple. So friendly you can feed them out of your hand. They will definitely visit a few times a day.
Another great treat could be catching a giant Sturgeon right off our dock. This 2 bedroom /1 bath unique stay has very comfortable beds and a big screen TV with Netflix and cable in the Master Stateroom. There is also a great view of the River as you lie in bed. It also has a regular house size shower in its own separate room. I have also installed a large hot water tank for those long hot showers. The second room is kind of a bunk the kids love it, but don't worry its easy access even for the big kids, then you can fall asleep under the stars and wake up to a glistening river waters at your feet. In the evenings enjoy a tasty BBQ then a dip in the hot tub and watch the beautiful view as the sun sets over the calm Fraser . Cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. A great stay anytime of the year. My favorite thing is having my hot coffee on the front deck watching the array of birds wake up and start their day. Its such a peaceful time. You will love staying here because we are located in the heart of the Lower Mainland and it is literally 20 minutes in all directions to something great. There is a great path from here along the river , at the east end you can take a little ferry boat to New Westminster Key a local tourist attraction. I am the only houseboat on the River for short term rental in the area and you would definitely enjoy the different , kind of adventurous yet peaceful stay. With the hottub to die for and BBQ sizzling your steak life cant get any better.

Summary: This was such a unique experience and we will be back. If you ever want to just get away to something a little off the beaten path but still close enough for local restaurants, the houseboat was a great experience. We loved the table and sitting area on the upper deck and were able to play games and hang out and talk while looking out over the water. The hot tub was an awesome addition and we named the beautiful swan Frank...lol...such a great experience. Thank you for everything. <3

Summary: Staying on the water was relaxing, refreshing,and th best decision we made. The house boat is clean and the bed was super comfortable. The host is awesome! If we are ever back in the area we would book this stay again.

Summary: Definitely a cool experience! We wanted something more private and fun, we got it. The boat was super cozy on a cold night and the rooftop hot tub was certainly enjoyable. Lee was very friendly and her dog Clide is hilarious! We will definitely be back when staying in Vancouver!

Summary: Lee was awesome and told us all about the boat and it’s history. We wanted a legit houseboat experience and that’s exactly what we got…not like those new row-house ones that are just like staying in an apartment. Everything was clean and ready for us. We were especially happy that she changes the hot tub water for each new guest. The bed was softer than we are used to but we both found it incredibly comfortable and slept well. The shower was also clean and good-sized. The shower head was a bit low for me, but at 6’3” that is something I deal with just about everywhere. Lee’s description of the stay as “glamping” was pretty much perfect. It’s different than staying in a house but the trade off for the river rocking you to sleep is totally worth it and it fit our style to a “T”. We even got some surprise visits from a couple of the super-friendly cats in the area…and since we left our cats at home it was a great treat.
