Summary: Our trip would have been ruined if Brie had not been on duty on Sunday. She was kind and understanding. As far as pet friendly goes, I would say more pet tolerant. Dogs aren’t allowed in the main hose or on the porch. They are supposed to be put in a crate that you are required to provide while you shower or sleep. Finally, they are never to be left alone in the room, crated or not. That is NOT pet friendly.

Summary: This is a Historical gem that is maintained well as well as the grounds are very well kept, however if you are wanting polished high end, this is not for you. It is filled with beautiful antiques and charm. The location was perfect for walking to everything. The room was sizable with nice but simple bathroom attached (Layfette room). We enjoyed the hot, cook to order breakfast and the manager's reception. Good communication with calls and text reminders. We would definitely stay at the Vandiver Inn again.

Summary: I loved that we had a fireplace in our room, and it was very well appointed. The owners, who we happened upon, were so friendly and welcoming!!

Summary: Very nice overall, staff is quite cordial. Minor issue the bathroom in our room was not heated so it was a little chilly during our mid-January stay.

Summary: Comfy,cozy bed and breakfast in a convenient, walkable location. Tasty, home cooked breakfast and a happy hour at 5pm with snacks and a wine or beer on the house. We stayed one night after a trip to see the bald eagles at the Conowingo Dam,which is about 20 minutes away.
