Positive: Amazing, beautiful quiet location in characterful forest with forest paths from the hotel, and heathland nearby. Perfect for walkers or cyclists. Nice restaurant / patio. Food exquisitely presented. Many dishes very tasty, but a couple were a little bland. If you buy (3 course) dinner with the room, it's excellent value for money. Excellent breakfast. Rooms a little old, but our superior room had some character, and was clean, large and comfortable. Staff very friendly. A great place to chill out in comfort (just don't expect luxury). We'll be back

Positive: The restaurant staff/waitresses were great, the food was good (dinner good, breakfast ok);The bar looked lovely and cozy but unfortunately was closed each night we were there.
Negative: The rooms were small cramped and a little on the dingy, warn out/ old side. Bathrooms tiny and having the sink in the room was very inconvenient.

Negative: The rooms looked like they last were decorated in the 70s. Very old carpets. We slept ok, but if you are allergic to dust mites, you might struggle.

Positive: Spacious and comfortable. A really good breakfast in the morning. It is a bit out of the way, but the quiet location makes up for that. The staff were nice, but could have been a little bit more "switched on." Considering it is Holland it was good value for money.
Negative: The car park is about 100 metres away. There was a whiff of cigarette smoke in the corridors. And even though the staff were very nice, they were a little confused and slow at times.

Negative: The room was not air-conditioned and rather hot. Outside temperature exceeded 25°C. The drain of the shower was not working properly, turning the shower in a swimming pool. These things should be noticed by the cleaning staff and fixed immediately as it gives a smudgy impression. It is okay to hire non-Dutch speaking staff, but please make sure they are fluent in English if they have to face customers. No response at all on questions asked in the app.
