Positive: Spacious and clean apartment. Pretty view from the Terrace. WiFi was good. Washing machine and drying rack provided was a life saver. Really cute town with cafes, restaurants and small stores, only 6 minutes by car (can’t be reached on foot since it’s up the mountain) Garage parking is included in the price but it is also shared with the other renters. Kitchen is stocked with the basics for cooking (stove,oven,pots,pans,plates,utensils,napkins) Staff is friendly and provide ample information. Sita bus stops directly in front of the property which made it very convenient for travel to Amalfi. We really enjoyed our stay.
Negative: AC AVAILABLE FOR AN EXTRA FEE (they were charging us $40euros for 4 nights), good thing we didn’t need it since the apartment is in the mountains it was cool at night but definitely couldn’t sleep with the doors open. Also, No fan in the room. I originally chose this location bc it was outside of the hustle and bustle of Amalfi and hoped we would have relaxing nights on the Terrace. House is directly on the road so there is PLENTY of noise pollution from the cars,buses and motor bikes till 12am/1am. Church bell goes off every 30 mins till 10pm. No coffee or a coffee machine, only a small percolator, so if you’re a coffee drinker, buy your own. No hair dryer in the bathroom.

Positive: The view is breathtaking and absolutely worth staying a bit further out from Amalfi. Very quiet as well. The balcony was amazing, great for sunbathing, having a nice breakfast before going out, or a romantic dinner looking out at the sea! The hosts were also very attentive and helpful. They guided us through the best ways to get around the area & gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and our itinerary.

Negative: Too far from main things. You need to catch a bus everywhere. You can’t drive because of parking issues. Having a bus stop right in front is great but the windy roads on the Amalfi coast made me car sick quite a bit. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Amalfi and from the unit and from there it is easier to catch a boat to Positano, Sorrento and capri but you have to get to Amalfi each time.

Positive: We met with the agent who explained how the property operated and also sent us photos to help find it, which were needed. Off street parking and a garage was fantastic and why we booked the property.
Negative: The bed was large but very firm. A mattress topper or something to soften it would be great. Also the pillows and covers could be updated. It would be better to have natural fibres, cotton for all the bedding. Nylon bed covers are not great.
Summary: Excellent and well equipped home for our stay. Beautiful outlook onto the sea.
