Positive: Lovely location, calm area, visit to Verla worthwhile, have a coffee at the old mill and chat with Tony Tavi if you need anything (travel arrangements, expeditions, tips and tricks, etc). The host was friendly and helpful.

Negative: Cleanliness could have been better, beds not very comfortable, tap water comes out of a well and has a strong sulfur odour (so bring drinking water; a bottle of 5 liter was provided). The photos on booking.com are all of the largest cabin (there are 3) but chances are you’ll get another cabin that seems less appealing.

Summary: Lovely location before going out camping into the wild

Positive: Cottage was spacious and in a very nice place. Own sauna, by the lake.

Negative: Water from tap was undrinkable and stinky. After a shower you smell like rotten eggs. Toilet worked very poorly and blocked easily. Mice inside the cottage were not our preferred roommates.

Positive: Water is smelly and not usuable for daily use like shower, brushing your teeth or cook. Need to buy water for all daily use. Location is nice and cottage has connectivity close to Smarket in Jaala and nice bar in Vanha Kelo. On a clear night you can witness Aurora .

Positive: The location was nice. Secluded, right in front of the lake. Private beach. Quite a good place for Aurora viewing.

Negative: The water smells very bad. Not good at all. Recommend to buy bottled water before arriving. The nearest shop is 10-12 minutes drive. No bedsheet or towels are provided, so bring your own, or the cost is 15€/set.

Summary: Except location, nothing seems good.
