We have owned this apartment and rented it out trouble free for over nineteen years.
The apartment is a 300m (about four minutes) walk from the centre of Maria Alm. Information on map saying 3.3 km from centre is wrong!!
This is a roof apartment with high ceiling in the lounge/dining area. Cable TV, DVD and WI-FI internet access are provided. There is a large patio door leading onto a south-facing balcony, with delightful views of the Aberg mountain area.
There are two bedrooms, one with a 'super king sized bed' and the other with full sized bunk beds. Both rooms have drawer and wardrobe space. Sheets and towels are provided in the price.
There is a separate, well equipped kitchen and a shower room which also contains the washing /drying machine.
The price for the apartment includes heating, hot water, electricity, stay tax and final cleaning.
In the basement of the apartment block are two storage rooms for boots and skis/bicycles.
A private parking space is also available next to the Haus.

'A very comfortable and well-furnished apartment equipped as the owners' holiday home. The balcony has lovely views down the valley. Internet connection was fast and reliable. Maria Alm is a charming village, surrounded by beautiful scenery and great hiking trails. There is a good supermarket too. We had high expectations and this place met them all.
Be prepared for three flights of stairs.'
'This was our best flat rental in a ski resort yet - it had everything that we needed close at hand. The flat felt more homely and loved than other flats - it has character and a personal feel about it that other flats have lacked. The beds, sofa and general living space and amenities were all extremely comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything that a self-catering holiday needs (for a change I didn't have to use a fork for mashed potato - a potato masher was in a drawer just like at home and there were pots and pans a plenty - I could even have baked a cake if I had wanted). The village with its bars/hotels/cafes and shops are all a short, pleasant walk away and if you are skiing the lifts and slopes are also close at hand. David and Jill added to the break by their friendly approach and were great at providing all the information that anybody could possibly need but not in an overly fussy way - they wanted us to enjoy our stay, which we did. Many thanks and when we return to Maria Alm we will certainly rebook.'
'After a successful week in this apartment last summer we have just had a 2 week break in the same apartment. We needn't have been concerned about the decision to go again, we have just returned feeling a lot fitter from all the walking and cycling we have done in the area and relaxed from the quiet and well equipped apartment. We particularly appreciated the balcony and its views, the well equipped kitchen, the wireless access and comfortable sofa. We kept discovering new walks and places of interest.'

Summary: Very nice stay. Kitchen with many supplies so meals could be cooked. Very nice couch to relax. Suggestions: new tap for shower so temperature is easier so adapt.

Summary: The flat is great, everything there. Good location, everything necessary can be reached by foot. Also quiet and the balcony is very big with a nice view to the mountains. The only thing we didn't know exactly before was that the two bedrooms have no door. There is a curtain and therefore, depending how good your children sleep, you have to be quiet in the living room. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Summary: Proper an well equipped apartment with large balcony, kitchen ( no dishwasser) 2 small bedrooms bathroom with washing machine, no drayer. The shower is very small and the hot and cold water knop are difficult to adjust to get a nice watertemperature. Advice install a thermostatic shower tap! Furter no concerns and fine location with nice view from the balcony.

Summary: Enjoyed having a home (not hotel) for our stay after exploring each day. The view from the 4th floor was amazing! and 3 flights of stairs burned off some calories. A great location for Salzburg, Vienna (by train), Innsbruck, FC Pinzgau women's soccer, GrossGlockner, Maria Alm, hiking, bakeries (yum) and so much more. Washer/dryer - would be nice to wash and dry separately & more instructions for this. Apartment was clean, comfy, and stocked with pots/pans, dishes, maps/brochures, games and more. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Summary: I spent 5 days here with my two children in August. Positive The apartment location is ok, around 5 min. walk to the shops, restaurants and Skilift. The owners made an effort to ensure the tourist cards arrived in time in spite of last minute booking. The village was nice and the local mountain was fun with children (Alm with playground, lake, slides in forest). The tourist card includes free lift access in the summer, as well as a ride in the nearby summer Rodelbahn. Negative The apartment furnishings are quite old and some things didn't work (shower door, blinds). Only one half of the double bed was made up with bedding, and when an additional sheet was requested, the owner was not helpful. Pillows were quite dirty.

Summary: We had a great stay. The apartment is nice and very comfortable. The owners are very friendly and even informed us that the apartment was already available in the morning, because the previous guest left a day early.
