Positive: Beautiful stay! One of the best of our holiday. Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location, right on the funicular in Brunate. Paola was a wonderful host, incredibly friendly. The apartment had great facilities and a beautiful view. 10/10, will most definitely be back to stay here :)

Positive: The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Brunate itself is a mountain village with lovely views of the lake and about a 15 minute drive up the mountain from Como. It is a quiet community but there are cafes and restaurants to explore. The funicular was not in operation during our stay, which was a disappointment, but we hired a car so we were able to get around.

Positive: The appartment is large, clean and cozy. The owners were friendly and helped us with great suggestions for our trip. The views from Brunate are breathtaking. Also, the access via Funicolare is great.

Negative: No self check in option. A bit chilly in September inside the appartment due to italian heating legislation and lack of carpets on the floor.

Positive: Clean, spacious, well equipped, unique location. Funiculare trip up to Brunate is very scenic. It’s nice to have coffee and tea available. Kitchen also has spices etc to use.

Negative: Without a car, you need to use the funiculare to get to Como and back. Cable car is very popular at times due to the beautiful scenery and you may have to queue for long to get on the transport.
