Positive: The friendly staffs, they are very helpful for travelers. special my flight back to Maimi was 6.am. the hostel is about an hour driving from the airport, so I need to leave the hostel around 3.30 am , the night staff he was very professioanl to check my Urber car is the right car that came for me ( I was travel myself alone), I really appreciated what he did to me. It happened on Sept 28th morning in Quito.
Negative: I think they missing a working station for the traveller who need to do some computer tasks. they do have one space in one of the corner whre is an open area. Music and wind coming in where I don't feel good working in that area.
Summary: it was a good place to stay, safe and convenience for visit some history places !

Negative: Drain in our room smelled pretty awful but think it seemed like some water/drainage issues were going on perhaps. One evening outside the hostel we ran into a bit of trouble with a troubled homeless man…shook us up a little so just be careful in the evenings!

Positive: Quito is an easy base to get to other parts of Ecuador so I stayed at this hostel about 4 times, while leaving my big bag behind each time, which was kept safely in storage. The staff are absolutely great! Everyone from reception, kitchen and bar, maintenance, cleaning and management etc go above and beyond to help out with a big smile and were always kind and helpful. Grace at reception even helped me call an airline on her day off, when I had some questions about a flight. Big thanks to all of the staff at Viajero Quito! The location is great, it’s in an older part of Quito and there’s things to do around the area plus it’s close to a metro station, making it easy to travel around to other areas too. Viajero also offer free morning walking tours. It’s a big hostel but also feels cozy and it has common areas, an outside garden and plenty of smaller areas too, if you wanted space on your own. The hostel has free drinking water filters to use, hot showers, the beds are very comfy and the rooms are clean and the building has nice artwork throughout. If I’m ever back in Quito, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Negative: The only downside is that there is no kitchen that guests can use. With that being said, there is a restaurant which serves breakfast (including good pancakes!), lunch and dinner. There is also a microwave for guests to use and the kitchen/bar staff kindly offer cutlery, bowls/plates etc, if you have your own food to eat.
Summary: Great staff and hostel, highly recommended

Positive: The place is really nice, they have an amazing garden, the beds are super comfy and all was clean :)
Negative: My room was facing the street which means you can listen the old buses running very early. Not a big issue if you're not a light sleeper
