This apartment has 2 new queens size beds and 3 new couches that pull out to single beds. Perfect for a family, a couple, or friends that are looking for a perfect place to crash with plenty of sleeping room.
The space
This beautiful Victorian apartment is close to award-winning restaurants, The Portland Museum of Arts, The Old Port, State Theater, Mercy hospital, Maine Medical Center, and a venue of Parks. All either within walking distance, bike ride, or 5 min uber lift.
Other things to note
Guests should know that this is on-street parking only and we have spots in front of the building as well as up and down the road.
A lot of our guests download a meter app onto their phone so they don't have to keep running outside to feed the meters- other guests choose to park on Melon Street ( a block away) for free on-street parking.
Meters run from 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday (Sundays and after 6 pm is free).

Summary: My family (wife, 4 kids, and myself) had a great stay in Portland. Our host was awesome with her communication and assistance, and the apartment was clean and in a good location. We had no problem walking to the Downtown and Old Port parts of the city. There were also a few good cafes, bars, restaurants close to the apartment. The apartment was great for us but I think it would be a little tight if we were there for more than a couple days or had 6 adults…especially since there isn’t any closet or dresser space.

Summary: Friends and I were looking for a place to call home base for a weekend stay for the Old Port Half Marathon. Check in and check out was easy. The location is next to some awesome restaurant, bars, and shops. In fact all of downtown Portland is easily walkable.

Summary: The place was clean and the beds were comfy. The shower had zero hot water so just know there is no shower unless you love ice showers. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Summary: Great communication with property manager. The main issue we had was that the water in the shower was never consistently warm. We all had a hard time getting the water to be warm, and all showers were fairly ice cold. Other than that, great neighborhood and location. Had a fun girls' weekend!

Summary: Girls weekend with a couple of friends. Easy check-in process and Jess has quick responses. When we arrived, we thought maybe there was a maintenance issue - turns out there was not (our mistake!) but Jess had immediately sent a maintenance person over to help in the meantime. Condo is older but also was to be expected for the area. Kitchen a bit small with minimal resources but Portland has an incredible food scene so we never intended to cook there anyway. Quick access to convenience store and pharmacy. Easy walk over to a fantastic coffee shop. Location can't be beat and we were able to walk to Old Port in roughly 20 minutes. If you and your low maintenance friends are looking for a budget friendly bed to crash in after exploring the Portland area all day, I would absolutely recommend this VRBO as an acceptable option.
