Summary: This was our favorite hotel during our Ecuador trip. It’s safe and the hotel staff are super helpful (restaurant suggestions, setting up taxis, etc). Breakfast was super good too! The hotel has a lot of character. There is a gate around the property and you have to buzz in and out to have staff open the gate so we felt super safe! Would highly recommend!

Summary: We stayed in 2 different rooms One was too small for 2 people with luggage. Both were accessed via a locked gate so always had to ask reception to open it for us. Pretty gardens One of the staff was exceptionally helpful booking taxis etc

Summary: Hotel was great for the price, good breakfast, water bottle fill up station. Staff was super helpful and available at all hours. Location was close to metro station so could easily get to historic city center. the minor inconveniences were that the bathroom has no fan and in February the humidity made the bathroom perpetually wet.

Summary: The staff at Vieja Cuba are so friendly and helpful. This includes Alejandro and Alyssia and the cleaning. You are close to many sites. There is an excellent supermarket nearby and several restaurants and cafes.
