This beautiful home was custom built on 2 acres in a quiet neighborhood just 1/2 mile from the city limits of Yakima. It is located on the north slope of Ahtanum ridge which gives a spectacular view of the entire city of Yakima all day/night long. Enjoy the panoramic, twinkling lights of Yakima and the valley below from the wraparound deck. Gorgeous! As if this wasn't perfect enough, the home is located amidst apple and cherry orchards.
Every bedroom has a view! The master bedroom features a king size bed and a master bathroom with a Jacuzzi jetted tub and a separate sauna/steam shower. This bedroom is located on the main floor of the house. 3 bedrooms upstairs: 1 queen bed and 2 full beds.
The private road that accesses this home is paved and there is plenty of paved parking space on two sides of the house. If you have an RV or a boat, you will have no problem finding a place to set it up.
This home is located close to the Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail, plus many other vineyards and craft breweries and hop fields. Yakima Valley produces 75% of all the hops in the United States!
Incredible fly fishing is close by in the Yakima River Canyon. Fly fishing, hiking.. in this beautifull and scenic 20-mile canyon. FLOAT THE YAKIMA RIVER during the summer.
The Yakima airport ( McAllister Field), via Alaska/ Horizon Air is 2 miles away. Plus, golf is very close , snow skiing at White Pass (50 miles away), river rafting on the Tieton River (25 minute drive), Toppenish Rodeo and parade on the Fourth of July, and many other popular events around the Valley. Hiking and mountain biking.
The home has a reverse osmosis water system that is accessed from the kitchen tap water and the kitchen refrigerator ice maker. This system will give you safe and great tasting water and ice.
WiFi access is free! A 75 inch 4K TV in the living room, a 42 inch flat screen in the den and a 42 inch flat screen TV in the master bedroom all receive WiFi channels and Direct TV signals. There is a small flat screen TV upstairs in the bedroom which receives local channels and WiFi signals.
This home is very well stocked for cooking and is also well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and other paper products.
There is a one person apartment in the daylight basement floor of the home that is not included in this rental. It has a separate access /entrance from the property being rented. The owner lives in the daylight basement which is sound proofed, isolated from the upstairs, and is locked out from the upper floors. Such a large property requires full time maintenance during the summer.

Summary: 7 buddies went to Yakima looking for Trout and Fresh Hopped beer and needed a place to stay..... This place was perfect, well-kept and the owner was available and courteous.

Summary: We were in town for a 90th birthday celebration. My biggest concern was finishing last minute food prep which went off without an hitch. Our host Eric went above and beyond in communicating with me and welcoming us to his home. Our favorite moments were lounging on the lush grass while watching grandkids play and enjoying the quiet. Highly recommend

Summary: Second trip staying at this property. We enjoy the spaciousness and the view is awesome. Friends/family annual weekend trip. We usually float the Yakima river but this year the weather didn’t cooperate. Honestly the house save our trip. We were able to spend the weekend playing games and grilling delicious food helping us forget it was too cold to swim.

Summary: Nice house overlooking the Yakima valley. Unfortunately smoke from wildfires made for challenging conditions. House was large, well cared for and a great location for our group. Plenty to do in Yakima. Don't miss the Farmers Market on Sunday, well organized and tons of fresh produce. A great stay with our family.

Summary: I booked this house with two other ladies to attend a Conference in Yakima. We did not spend very much time at the house. On the last day I learned that the owner lives under the house because he approached me at 8:30 AM while I was loading my car to let me know that another group was going to be checking in at 2 PM to see if we would leave earlier than the agreed upon 11 o’clock check out. I let him know that we planned to leave at about 10 o’clock for the final session of the conference we were attending. At about 9:30am, he decided to operate a lawnmower on dirt ground next to our cars and threw dirt all over our cars. He had an angry look on his face and did not acknowledge us, even though he was within 10 feet of us. When we drove away he throw up at hand, but it was definitely an odd departure! I was not aware that the owner lived underneath this house. Had I known, I would not have booked this. I would not stay at this house again.
