Positive: Lovely property, spotlessly clean. The number 19 bus from the Gleneagles train station stops right outside the cottage. The bus can also be caught right across the road to take you into the centre of Auchterarder where there are lovely cafes and shops. Bus fares really cheap. The cottage has everything you need and is a very relaxing environment. There are board games and access to WiFi in addition to the TV. Although the pub across the road was closed the night we stayed we were able to order a takeaway to be delivered. The garden is lovely with good lighting at night. There is great support from the owner who responded to us straightaway when we messaged with a query. Check in is straightforward in that you are given a code for the key safe at the back door. In some ways it feels as relaxing as a home from home in a lovely high standard cottage. There is even a hairdryer in each of the two bedrooms. The bathroom has 3 neat dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap as well as a soap dispenser over the hand sink. I highly recommend this vacation cottage. Great value. Lovely environment and well situated.
