Comfortable home a short distance to Lake Sunapee State Beach, Mount Sunapee State Park and Mount Sunapee. The sprawling Lake Sunapee State beach is 1/2 mile down the road, and once there you can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating and picnicking. It is an ideal spot for family outings! Mount Sunapee is just up the street, so you can enjoy skiing in the winter and the Adventure Park in the warmer weather.
The home features 3 three bedrooms plus a loft sleeping area as well as two bathrooms. The bedrooms are spread out and provide privacy for guests. There are two bedrooms on the first floor (each with a queen bed), one on the second floor (with a king bed), and a sleeping area in the loft on the top floor (with 2 twin beds). The sleeping area in the loft is private with a door. There is a separate office area in the loft that looks out into the living space. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including an electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. Coffee lovers can enjoy both keurig k-cup coffee and/or brewed coffee. There are five stools around the granite countertop to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal. The kitchen, dining and living areas are open concept and very light and airy. Also on the second floor is a light-filled sunroom with three walls of windows - it's great place to watch TV or relax while reading a book. Central airconditioning was installed in 2024 so the house is comfortable during the warm summer months!
There are two bathrooms - one on the first floor with a full bathtub/shower, and one on the second floor with stall shower and separate jacuzzi bathtub. The second floor bathroom is accessed via the living room or the master bedroom.
If you enjoy kayaking, the house has five kayaks available for renter use. Two are child-sized, three are adult-sized. Paddles and life jackets are also available for your use.
The large arched window overlooks the mountains and lake, with mountain views year round and seasonal views of the lake. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself!! The house is in a fantastic area with lots to do - hiking, boating, swimming, skiing, golfing, etc. - yet is private and serene. You will be in close proximity to many restaurants and attractions when staying here!
Enjoy an evening barbeque by cooking on the large propane grill and relaxing on the gazebo nearby. You can also sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows!

Summary: The house had plenty of room and was neat and clean. It’s a bit too far to carry the kayaks to the lake, but it’s an easy walk without them. It’s also easy enough to stick them in your car and drive them down. The setting is lovely, and the lake nearby is very nice as well. The owner was prompt and efficient with communications and everything went smoothly from beginning to end

Summary: The place, set on a hill, was open and bright, with a beautiful view of Mt. Sunapee. There were many places to enjoy our morning coffee. Inside, there was a cozy sunroom with large sofas, and a large sofa in the living room. These were in addition to the dining table and granite counter with stools. Outside, there were cozy spots about the decks and yard. Our favorite was the copper bistro table, with the Mountain View. The host was attentive, and quick to respond, when I had a question. Debbie was very pleasant to deal with. We made many new memories in the Sunapee region and would go back any time.

Summary: We loved our stay at this property! The pictures do not do this home justice, it's so much better in real life! Home is very secluded and in a beautiful setting in the woods, it was so peaceful! We had plenty of room for our group of 6, beds were very comfortable, kitchen was large and very easy to use for meal preparation. We loved the gazebo with the dining table for our meals. Fire pit was awesome! We enjoyed using the kayaks on Lake Sunapee. There are lots of floats and beach toys for use as well. We rent a lot of houses for vacations and this was our best one yet! Highly recommend! Thank you Debby for being an awesome host!

Summary: To say our stay was perfect, does not do our total experience justice. The location was extraordinary, the home had all the amenities you would expect plus some you wouldn’t. Debbie could not have been nicer and responded promptly to any questions I had. We would definitely book another stay. My family very much enjoyed hanging out at one of the most unique out door fireplaces we have ever seen. I highly recommend a stay here. 👍👍👍

Summary: My family and I stayed here to celebrate my father in law’s retirement. Although it rained throughout nearly the entire duration of our stay, we still had a very enjoyable, relaxing visit. We were grateful for the generous amount of space which made it ideal for spending time together and apart. The house was clean and very clearly well maintained. The views were breathtaking even amongst all of the fog, rain and clouds. I’ve never seen the moon shine so bright. The day we left, the clear skies revealed an even more gorgeous mountain view. I don’t think the beauty of this location is quite conveyed enough in the description, just wow. We were grateful for the grill as well as all of the necessities such as ketchup and coffee filters. We can’t wait to visit again and hopefully take advantage of all of the outdoor amenities. You will not regret booking this stay.

Summary: My family and I came for the NASCAR race in Loudon. We stayed in this absolutely beautiful house with everything you could ever need! The pictures truly do not do this property justice. Lots of nearby activities - and it's close proximity to the Boston, Ma and Killington, Vt areas made it possible for a couple day trips! Communication with Debby was easy and quick. Would - without a doubt - stay in thus location again. Highly recommend!

Summary: Great location to enjoy Lake Sunapee, Mt Sunapee, and local hiking trails. Home was perfect for me plus family. Everything we needed was easy to find and readily available. Great views from the back deck and saw numerous deer and turkey in the morning and evenings. We found some great restaurants nearby and old school ice cream stand. Check out the John Hay Estate if you have few hours to kill. We are already planning a winter ski trip!
