Positive: Great location with beautiful views. Very spacious and comfortable cottage. Hot tub was a nice bonus.
Negative: Barbecue needed cleaning and was missing propane tank but owner was very responsive and quickly rectified the issue.

Positive: You can tell that whoever designed and built this property has a strong eye for design and aesthetics, they really put a ton of effort into everything - the fixtures, the decorative details, appliances and the furnishings. Everything was to a super high standard and it shows. I especially loved the crow! Shower water pressure was so good, almost too good! Coffee maker was pour over style, fine by me and a nice change to the capsule makers that produce so much waste. The birch walls brought me back in time to the 90's, loved it! Appreciated that there was a washing machine too! Beds were quality and comfortable. Outdoor grill was great! Wall speaker was a nice extra touch! I want to build a tiny house just like this for myself and will take home with me a ton of inspiration! So thank you! I would return to this property in the future.
Negative: Asking guests to do the dishes is totally fine, but please provide more than just 1 single tea towel. It was barely suitable to wipe and clean the countertops let alone dry the dishes as it did not dry fast. Paper towels would be nice, as I felt I couldn't clean up as good as I would have liked. I also rent out a property on booking.com, and my guests love that I provide them so they can clean up better. Beer and wine offerings were a nice touch but way too overpriced, even for Icelandic standards, so that was a bummer. It didn't seem like there was much ventilation in the apartment, I noticed this the same in a previous accomodation in Iceland, so be sure to open a window if you are cooking or use the fantastic grill. Stairs were extremely steep, not suitable for children and was NOT warned but managed fine. it's hard to tell from the pictures what apartment you will get since they are all mixed together.
Summary: Very good stay in a quality accomodation - would return!

Positive: Amazing view from the hot tub! Loved the decor, very cosy and comfortable. Be aware if you want to use the minibar you need to have some cash on you.

Positive: Very comfortable bed and linen. Loved being able to watch Netflix after a long day out Very close to Forest Lagoon which we visited one night
Negative: No full length mirror, in fact no mirror apart from the bathroom
