Positive: One of only a few properties on the island with a pool. The bar and food were good. Room was a good size with an amazing balcony view of the pool, beach and sea.

Negative: It’s a hot humid country. Bedding was changed once in 2 weeks. There was no option to pay for more frequent changes. Once toilet paper ran out, we were expected to supply our own. No welcome pack in the room to explain how things worked or what to do with the key at the end of the stay. Each apartment on the complex is privately owned therefore. The complex has a shared pool which seems open to locals so at times hoardings of people would turn up by taxi and use the pool and sun beds. They never seemed to buy anything at the bar.

Summary: A great place to stay, close to the town and beach.

Positive: Spacious property, great balcony two toilets, consistent hot water , WiFi, reasonably equipped kitchen, clean throughout. On site agent very helpfull.

Negative: Shower a little tired but good hot water

Summary: Good location with excellent cafe for breakfast next door. Good restaurants not far away.

Positive: The location was very pleasant with lovely views of the sea and sunsets from our balcony. It was quite and relaxing which suited my wife and I. The bar by the pool was very convenient and reasonable prices. Matthew was very helpful with our needs and questions. He sorted out transfers too and from airport. He also gave us good advice regarding shops and restaurant.

Negative: It was the windy season ( February) and cold at night so needed coats.

Positive: Fantastic location. Stunning sea views. Fabulous restaurants nearby. Elcibar in the grounds does great food and lots of people who stay locally go there. We would definitely return

Negative: Just 2 things. There wasn't a safe and I'm the apartment we had there was only air conditioning in the bed room

Positive: It was so chilled out and relaxing. So much better than the hustle and bustle of the All inclusive hotels which I normally stay in. The pool bar was so good, amazing food, drinks and service. Any problems that arose, the host was quick to sort out. The location was amazing, the beach was opposite and the centre of Sal Rei was within walking distance.

Negative: The apartment bathrooms are a bit tired and could do with a little redecorating. It would be nice to have a washing machine but this is minor.

Summary: Great apartment, excellent location.
