Positive: We love the warm welcome from Tonka and her family. The villa is located close (3 minutes drive) to the town of Makarska and has a beautiful sea view that you can enjoy from the spacious balcony. Having a private pool was an added bonus to this place. I would recommend it to families or a group of friends. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with a bathroom, and on the first floor there are two more bedrooms, a living room and a large open kitchen fully equipped. There is also a barbecue and a parking space. Just a few minutes drive from the town of Makarska with a beautiful view of the mountains and the port, surrounded by many restaurants and cafes. Tonka and her husband showed us around the city, which was very nice. We love this place and will definitely come back for another vacation.
Negative: You need to drive to the beach but it's only 5 min from the Villa.

Positive: The hosts helped us to find the house. The family welcomed us with self made Croatian pastries and liqueur. They are very lovely people. The communication was very good. They also prepared us the traditional stone stove, but unfortunately we hadn't time to use it. The house and the pool with the view to the sea and the isle Brac (which is very near for a day trip) were amazing. There was much space and we liked the little garden with the fig tree. In the evening you can watch the beautiful sunset. The children didn't want to leave "our little paradise" :-)
Negative: There is only a gas station nearby. You have to drive to the supermarket and the beach by car and the traffic is often stop-go. And we had a little problem with ants, so we had to buy something against them. It wasn't expensive, but it would be better, if there was already something in the house.
