Positive: Hotel facilities, cleanliness and friendliness of staff was outstanding
Negative: Whilst it was technically Sintra I don’t think we had realised it was as far out as it was. Once we returned for the evening it was a little too far to go out again if you wanted to and are dependent on taxis or public transport

Positive: The hotel is big and with open and spacious areas. Good for families with children once have a lot of entertainment for them. Breakfast with a lot of variety with fresh products, well prepared and cooked. The staff is friendly and cordial.
Negative: The parking lots seems to small for the hotel size. In the restaurant and breakfast area, due to size of space seems that creates condensation and there is humidity in the air, which causes discomfort. The corridors leading to the rooms have poor lighting, feeling air with humidity and heavy plus strange smell due to lack of ventilation. The bathroom area has poor lighting especially in front of the mirror and the hairdryer could be a better one.

Positive: Spacious and clean rooms, and the massage I had was great — but it’s really a hotel for families with small children who can freely run around, not for those seeking peace and quiet.
Negative: Breakfast was already a challenge with all the children screaming in the huge hall. Of course, the hotel can’t be blamed for bad parenting, but it could easily improve the situation by dividing the breakfast area into smaller zones — with plants, bookshelves, or half-height partitions. This would reduce the noise and make it feel much more comfortable and inviting. The spa should also have an adults-only policy. I actually thought it did, but during the weekend I stayed, children were running and jumping around in the spa, leaping onto people in the pool. And late at night, kids ran through the corridors knocking on doors. Overall, the hotel lacks charm — just a few concrete blocks standing in the middle of nowhere, without warmth or atmosphere. The bar by the reception isn’t very inviting either — cold and not cozy at all. It might be fine in summer, but in November, when the weather is gloomy and it gets dark by 5:30, you end up sitting in dimly lit rooms or driving several kilometers through the dark just to find a cozy place for dinner without all the noise.
Summary: Not a relaxing spa stay — too many kids everywhere.

Negative: The dinner food wasn’t great, the breakfast was lovely.

Positive: Location is great with an exceptional view, but rather far away from Sintra center. At night we came back from the city after dinner and got lost in the small and unlit streets.
Negative: Room keys did not function, but the receptionist just didn't care! We waited for some 40 minutes and had to go and ask for them again. Hotel should not let guests wait to get in their room! Plus, no one bothered to apologize.
